Well, sure. When you run for approx 45 minutes straight you get a little tired.

Not like some sports I know where you get 25 seconds after every play to relax and make new strategy. Oh, and you switch teams out after someone scores, so you can get a nice long break if those short 10 second bursts of activity get to be too much for you.

All i have to say about soccer is that I would respect the sport more if they finished all their games with a clearly defined winner and loser. Tying doesn't cut it for me.

On the subject of football (american), does it bother anyone else to see players sporting dreadlocks that come out of their helmet and cover the name on their uniform?

I think it looks tacky and unprofessional, but I may be a bit biased when it comes to uniforms and haircuts.

If I were an owner, manager, or coach of a football team, I would not permit a player to enter a game looking like that.

It doesn't really bother me, but I could see why it might be annoying. I don't think the managers really care about that at all though.

Just don't let the kitty get into the coffee. I used to have a big old tomcat who would tackle me for my morning coffee when I was in High-School. I mean a full flying leap for the face off the kitchen counter. If unsuccessful he would wind around my legs mewing until I put some of my coffee into his bowl.

And one of my kitties LOVES water. If you try to take a shower or bath, it will paw its way into the door, or meow loudly until you let it in. Then it will either bat at the shower water or take a swim in bath water. Though this kitty is generally strange anyways...

Too late. Great story, the only thing my tomcat does is tackle sleep on me. He's kicked me from the chair before (mainly because he weighs more than six kilos, he's definitely the king of the hill).

Well, nothing can work in every case, but in general I think it works pretty well. It's worked on our two cats at least. The first Christmas we had them they liked to attack any ornaments that were hanging off the bottom levels. They also liked just attacking the tree itself, and actually almost knocked it over once. We started spraying them when they played with the tree, and they stopped pretty quickly. They never tried it the next Christmas either.

If the cats understand where the water is coming from, the squirt gun works wonders; if they can't figure out that the wet is connected to anything, it does not work so well. Unfortunately, I've owned both stupid cats and oblivious cats. Stupid cats could be shoved away from the yummy thing and would quickly distract themselves (ooooo lookit an AIR MOLECULE! must kill it) but oblivious cats had persistence.

Considering the attention the hair pulling rule has garnered, you'd think it would be used more, but the fact is, guys just don't pull hair. The only time I've seen it happen was by accident. The guy who did it was off balance and going down, so he just made a wild grab and happened to come up with a hand full of hair. It was effective, though. Poor running back went down like he'd just run full on into a low doorbeam.

Yeah It wouldnt be the primary target for sure. Way to hard to grab but...... If hes running and thats all you can get a hold of. You go for it.
