Re: The messengers
Dafydd
Dafydd looks somewhat relieved and grateful as his friends gather about him. Still, he realizes they probably look somewhat unimpressive up against these four behemoths, and he sincerely hopes the fight won't come to lethal blows.Proud Happy Biscuit (TM) salesman

Re: The messengers
Lorrick
Lorrick stands, and looks the men in the eye.
Are we all so nervous here that mere words stir us to brawl in a bar? I've been in my share of fights, and I can't say one ever made anyone feel better. Let me get you a drink.

Re: The messengers
The four human lumberjacks stand in a line. They are quite big, and they look pretty tough. Their will to fight only rises as the other two demihumans, Ozz and Dagg appears next to Daffydd. Lorrick's words don't have any effect on them, as they are more interested in beating up a some wild elf than in another round of ale.

Re: The messengers
kaz
Kaz gets up with a sigh, almost reluctant to leave his lunch. He gives a snide smile to the lumberjacks and says "I'd say 'let's all just get along' but where would the fun in that be? He stands up, trying to give the illusion that he is bigger than he is. "You sure you want to do this? I've fought kobolds bigger than you fools."

Re: The messengers
For a moment, the lumberjacks seem to hesitate.. Then, suddenly the one called Tom raises his bear-sized fist, and starts a punch, aiming for Dafydd's head. But the wildelf was quick and ducked his head from the punch.

Re: The messengers
Ozzgar is quick to act. The goblin attacks the human named David, but he can't reach the chin of the tall human. David tries to kick Ozz, but misses the fast goblin.
Kaz kicks Tom in the head, but the large lumberjack shakes off the hit, and sports a wicked smile as he spits blood to the floor.
Sam attacks Dagg, but the slow puch goes over the dwarf's head. Dagg tries to bring the man to the ground. As he tries to get a hold on the man, Sam puches him hard in the chin (5 damage). This disorients Dagg enough to miss his attempt on the wrestle.
Tom swings his fist again, aiming at Daffydd, but the agile paladin evades the strike again. Dafydd steps within the reach of the man, and puches him with a strong hook. But even after the strike of Kaz and Dafydd, he remains standing.
Matt attacks Lorrick, but he misses. Lorrick tries to grapple the lumberjack, but he's just too strong for Lorrick, and knocks away him.

Dafydd
HP: 20 AC: 16 (w/o shield)
Dafydd tries, if possible, to get into a flanking position with Kaz around Tom. From there he attempts to deliver a punishing elbow to Tom's jawbone. "Obviously, here is a man well-versed at hitting trees and other stationary objects. If I were a tree, sir, I would be afraid indeed," he jeers.

Tom attacks Daffydd again, this time hitting the paladin right in the face (7 damage). Blood starts to flow from the wildelf's face after the giant punch of the lumberjack.
Matt tries to hit Lorrick with a left hook, but Lorrick evades it with ease. Lorrick sees an opening in the woodsman's defense, and hits him hard.

Re: The messengers
Dafydd
HP: 13 AC: 16
Dafydd spits the blood from a newly dislodged tooth out of his mouth, briefly wishing there was some way to put armor there. "That little flea swatter you call a fist is what I've been worried about this whole time? How silly of me." After his show of bravado, Dafydd attempts to deliver a solid uppercut to the woodsman, despite having to reach a fair distance to hit the chin.
