    Deal's still on the table. I think this mission is reasonably doable for you while securing one crate, so that's what I'm offering as the terms of my surrender, which is entirely to expedite matters.

    I'm not trying to short you. I am, however, pretty sure that taking Verena out of position to pick up a crate while also spending another player's action to pick up the one on the right side of the map is an action tax that gives me enough momentum to play it out. Therefore, the only reason not to accept my surrender is if you think you can get two or more crates and still win, bearing in mind that of sixteen Rebel hero actions remaining, doing so would cost you four.

    With your path cleared, you leap into the Phantom and blast off from the planet. Hera radios to her companions: "Well, it took a little longer than expected, but mission accomplished. Chopper and Spectre-2 returning home!"

    Heroes receive Hera Syndulla, Spectre-2 and C1-10P, "Chopper" as allies.

    End of Mission

    Heroes receive 400 credits. The Imperial player receives 1 Influence. Each player receives 1 XP.

    The Imperial player reveals the Agenda card Pulling The Strings. Rebels must either spend 300 credits to discard this card, or the Imperial player gains 1 Influence. Rebels must make this decision before seeing item purchase options for this mission.

    Excellent.

    With General Syndulla's help, you've been able to track down the mercenaries that took the Rebel agent. You'll have to move quickly to corner them - they'll know you've been asking around.

    Here are your item purchase options. The party has earned 400 credits from the mission, plus 50 from loot collected during the mission, then spent 300 to counteract Pulling The Strings, and had 700 at the start of the mission, for a total of 850. Starter items may be sold for 50 credits.

    Mission III: A Bounty Protected

    After tracking the mercenaries for days, yor search has finally brought you here. Your intelligence indicates that the bounty hunter leading these lowlifes will transfer the Rebel operative into Imperial custody in a prisoner exchange in a nearby valley. Only a stinking sewer, an icy mountain trail, and a stubborn rockfall block your path.

    "Well, those and the heavily-armed criminals," your pilot reminds you.


    Mission-Specific Rules

    • Neutral mission tokens represent obstructions. Rebel figures must spend 4 movement points to enter a space containing an obstruction. Once per activation, a Rebel figure can test Strength to reduce that movement point cost by the number of successes until the end of the activation, to a minimum of 0.
    • Line of sight cannot be traced and spaces cannot be counted through a space containing an obstruction.
    The mission will progress when a Rebel figure enters a space containing an obstruction. The mission ends at the end of Round 6 or when all heroes are wounded.

    Other Notes

    • Standard deployment rules apply.
    • Threat Level is now 3.
    • Imperial class deck is Imperial Black Ops.
    • Rebels may choose to bring one of the following allies. If they do, the Imperial player gains a commensurate amount of Threat and may immediately resolve an optional deployment:

    > Hera Syndulla, Spectre-2 (4)
    > C1-10P, "Chopper" (3)

    The water is difficult terrain right? So that'd prevent us from using Smooth Landing as well? In which case I think maybe Hera loses some utility and I don't think she's quite as good as another squad of Hired Guns, I think we should pass personally. I think the expected damage from 4 threat is probably higher than the ability to clear a path we get from the extra figure.
