I could be misremembering, but I only ever remember the one blaster and, arguably, the rocket on his jetpack (which wasn't necessarily identifiable as a rocket at the time).

Wrist rockets, wrist flamethrower, wrist rope, shoe blades, at least. All that from the 501st CRLs, but all that was part of his base costume, without EU "he had this either stuff too you just didn't see it."

I remember the cable, although I think calling that a weapon is a bit of a stretch, but I don't remember the flamethrower, wrist rocket, or shoe blades at all.

    https://databank.501st.com/databank/...Boba_Fett-RotJ

Fuel line for the gauntlet bracer-mounted flamethrower is on the right arm. Rocket on the left gauntlet bracer. Maybe I was wrong about the blades in the shoes; doing a Fett is crazy expensive and I've only glanced at it.

ETA: huh. CRL had the flamethrower on the same gauntlet bracer as the rocket. Interesting. Also, some shin weapons. I was just going by the quick and dirty look at the reference picture, but the details have him as even more armed.

Second ETA: shoes have spikes, not blades. My bad.

Ah, I see. Yeah, you would need to freeze frame the movie to see either of the wrist weapons, something ive never done.

Also, that's a bracer, not a gauntlet. If you can nitpick people about the correct spelling of wookiee, I can harass you about the correct names of various armor parts. A gauntlet needs to protect the hand.

Also also, how are his cape and wookiee scalps not catching fire when he uses his jetpack?! Are wookiees not flammable?

Guess what the 501st totally does!

On a related topic, I have an amusing anecdote from one of my friends about the freeze-framing to get crazy amounts of detail on the costumes. I'll PM, if you're interested.

Anecdote away! I lack the patience (and wealth) to do serious cosplay, but I have major respect for the people who do it and do it well.

Peelee's got it, and the rocket is farily obvious on his jetpack, unlike his father's. Also, his dad had arm blades on his vambrace, so i see no reason why Boba wouldnt have them as well.

Looks like a generic heist movie with a Star Wars coating sloppily splashed on it.

Unless future trailers indicate anything else, I'm not gonna bother with it in the theaters, and possibly not at home either.

Isn't all that stuff just standard Mandalorian loadout?

That suggests Boba prefers or is capable of mustering an extreme level of force, but doesn't necessarily indicate anything about his preferences vis a vis kill versus capture.
Taking bounties alive has to be something a bounty hunter does regularly though. The fact that he needs a special warning beyond the norm seems to indicate that he disintegrated someone he was supposed to take alive.

He could have disintegrated somebody on a "dead or alive" bounty once. Without a corpse, there would be no way to confirm if he had done his job.

Isnt their house on fire? Being burned to a crisp is the natural result of being in a large fire.

Yhea, but the house is hardly sufficiently damaged to justify the level of fully-burnt bodies we see.

Either the burned bodies were dragged out (possible) or they were burned on the spot. Maybe they left out while still alive but somewhat burned.. or they were ZAPPED :-P

    Its a silly theory

Real answer is their bodies were torched to render them unrecognizable leaving there doubt as to who killed them and why.

I think the real question is why they burned them that badly when a couple of shots would have done the trick. It's not like an old couple with no real reason to hide would merit that kind of response.

I think it's reasonable to assume it's just Vader being Vader.

Well we know that they were trying to make it look like there was no imperial involvement. So it has to have something to do with that.

So either they sent a Flametrooper or whatever they used to burn the house caught them in the blast...
I could see Boba claiming credit but it was due to an unforeseen mishap he felt genuinely so embarrassed about that he'd rather be called cold blooded than called an idiot!😉

    LMFAO

    Sidious: Where is Vader?!
    Trooper: Uh, on Tatooine.
Sidious: Why is he still there? What happened?
Trooper: Well, we were after this moisture farmer. A boy. And we tracked him and found him besieged by tusken raiders.
    Sidious: Yes, then what?
Trooper: Well then... Vader just sort of stood still and reached out, like he was feeling with the Force. He said No, not again!!! and rushed in to help the kid. He had the droid we were looking for.
    Sidious: Go on.
Trooper: Well, he killed them. He killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and he slaughtered them like animals. He hated them.
Sidious: And what of Vader and the boy?
Trooper: Darth Vader said he was finally able to save his family, and that he made up for a previous failure. And he told us to leave and not to return for him. That he had found his son and would retire from the Empire's service and live happily ever after with the thing that matters most to him in the whole galaxy.

This causation is backwards. The creators went to the trouble of bringing Boba back because he was already popular. He didn't acquire his popularity after being brought back.

The answer is the simple one: Boba had cool armour and cool weapons and acted like a badass in ESB. In particular, he was a cool toy.
