I may be mistaken, but I think that we are to understand that they are not actually named Spartacus, but instead decided to answer by that name in order to show support for the rebellious leader.

Similar scenes (somewhat less in jest, of course) happened in other places, including the Zorro movies with Antonio Banderas and at least one of the early Saviors appearances in the Walking Dead TV series.

Yeah, it's parodying the scene by having all the guys identifying themselves as Spartacus actually being named Spartacus (and also that they can somehow distinguish which one is which by name alone). I thought that was obvious.
