Jacob makes pancakes, eats. and moves to continue working on the vat. He needs to do this to prepare themselves for the future tiffs, and dangerous encounters they might encounter.

Architect joins Jacob (and maybe everyone else) for pancakes and lets them know she'll be working on the workshop today and to look forwards to that. Then she goes off to do so with much enthusiasm and skipping and humming giddily to herself.

Plug heads downstairs, thinking about the truck and what it might mean. And how, exactly, he should explain it to his team.

In the morning, he's a bit pensive as he eats his pancakes, and will try to stop people leaving until everyone's gathered, so everyone knows. "Yesterday, I built a new camera and tried it on the roof. It's good- sees everything, electricity, light... I'm still trying to figure out what all the colours mean, but one of the things I saw was a truck driving around, randomly it looked like. It glowed with internet, more internet than anything else I saw. The PRT building's shielded, so I couldn't see anything there. Anyway, I was thinking that later I'd go up roof again with the camera, see if I can point it out for you guys."

Maverick emerges from his room, clutching a small pile of notes and muttering to himself. He serves up some food with one hand and starts eating, stopping frequently to scribble in the margins of his pages and muttering about gels and foam and fluid dynamics, barely even noticing he's making a bit of a mess.

"No, can't fit that much in the 'pack, it's gotta expand or it'll be too heavy for more than a few shots..." me murmurs, ripping up one messy page with a scowl and moving on to the next, paper pieces still fluttering down to the table. "anything heavy's gonna expand too slowly to catch 'em...and will probably be air-tight...

Architect nods to Plug's words as much as she does to Maverick's and says maybe to both, "Yeah sounds like a good idea. Let us know how that goes." before she finishes and leaves to go start on her project.

Architect, an automated chopshop to make dragon blush,

After a long night's sleep you feel raring to go, excitement builds as you stand in the middle of the large concrete room. Next to you is a pile of raw materials heaped as high as you are tall. You go to work building fabrication tools from a list of tools a youtuber recommended for a shop list. As you build each tool your power kicks in and ideas on how to make each tool more mobile floods you. Each time you finish a tool you immediately turn to using it to build the next one. A couple of minutes later you reach to your pile to find it depleted. Looking up you see the sun had set long ago, your stomach rumbles loudly.

The previously empty room now has a form of maglev track built into it, upon which a veritable platoon of unique lathes, saws, benders, lifters, welders, grinders, cutters, presses and lithography machines ride. Arranged across one side is a set of draws, no two of which are the same shape. All of this you can feel through your attunement to the tower.

You are exhausted but already new ideas spring to your mind.

Resources used: 13 tonnes of raw materials, 8+12 hours tinkering.
Produced: 1 automated fabrication lab, will reduce time spent tinkering on mechanical devices, especially large things. (Instead of measure time to completion with a single engineer as the baseline, an automated factory will be used.)

Shard sparks: automation, modularity, 6DOF style robotic arms.
Cross contamination: self repairing concretes, jet propulsion.

Alcheme, putting (a) panacea in a bottle,

The overwhelming successes of the plastic surgery performed by your vat brings you great joy. In your hand you hold the vial containing the complex cocktail of bacterial delivery agents used to rewrite your own dna thus making the changes significantly more than skin deep. It was a complex process barely understood by modern science and you had completely mastered it within hours. Unfortunately the process still took hours to propagate across an entire body even when aided by the total saturation of the vat. And the regular process to regrow flesh was excruciatingly slow. Perhaps you could increase the rate of mitosis in cells and…

Hours later you emerge from a daze, the research computer on your desk wines as it attempts to complete the folding sequences for phase 3, but in front of you the vat bubbles away the fluid inside a diffrent color, a new set of arms inside and a second smaller vat to the side. You know the smaller vat is a fast cloning vessel for mass producing replacement skin, muscles, organs or bones. The fluid inside has been upgraded to hyperactivate healing in the body, and to allow replacement flesh to be attached easily.

The small computer is attempting to figure out how reptiles can rebuild their own anatomy, it will take weeks as it is, more processing power will expedite the process, as would a living sample of said reptile. An idea for an organic flashes across your brain swiftly at the thought.

Resources consumed: about a tonne of metals and glass from the earlier haul. Surprisingly most organic material required for the fluid was made by seeding colonies of your own cells with raw biomass from the lake and promoting rapid growth. Also 8 hours of tinkering.

Shard sparks: Organic computing, self regeneration (needs some form of regenerator dna sample to complete).
Cross contamination: Organic sevitor arms, absurdly concentrated calorifics and crispr fluids.

    Maverick, a torrent of invention,

As you work on a non lethal capture medium your thoughts keep drifting to highly corrosive acid projectiles, suffocating glues and napalm. A lessor man may have given in to these urges but you shake your head and continue on. You’ve managed to solve the issue of volume, packing surprisingly large amounts of material into small spaces under incredible pressure. Amusingly this was solved by first trying to fit as much as possible into a single bullet, then scaling the bullet up. An adaptive nozzle and sophisticated trigger mechanism allows you to project any fluid, newtonian or not, with uncanny accuracy, usually by undulating the nozzle between a thin rectangle and a diamond to induce a vortex on the stream keeping it in a tight spiral until it reaches its target.

The glue you’ve developed as its payload is incredibly effective at sticking things together, in an absurdly permanent way. You worry that someone may get their airways filled and suffocate.

Hours later, sat on the couch in a mood watching tv, you see a prt containment foam van and perk up.

Resources consumed: Your compressive tank-pack and nozzle are small and require almost no specialized parts, about a kilo of the metal liberated from the scrapyard are consumed. Also 5 hours of tinkering.

Shard sparks:Containment foam(requires a sample), any number of hyper lethal fluids. Excessively compressed bullets.

Cross contamination: Robotic arm brace for targeting, ammo made of bone continuously grown by a small biological device.
