    Sahida plans to lay Spike Stones in front of the gate (20 20-foot squares, impossible to detect unless they've got a decent Rogue) leaving a small channel against the wall for us/villagers to use if we need to leave. We'll need to steer them to this spot before laying down additional crowd-control.

    Rúni walked through the western gate into the open field, about 50ft away from the gate.

    When the giant and the ogres are walking out of the woods, he casts:
    - Bear’s Endurance
    - Entropic Shield
    - Divine Favor
    EDIT: and he casts silverbeard
    And activates Divine Vigor

    Then he waits a bit away from the direct line between giant and gate

    (Assuming you adjust altitude instead of crashing into trees...btw all altitudes given as distance to ground, as opposed to above sea level.) You find them in about 10 minutes. Hard to see through the trees, looks like a frost giant on some sort of Hugh furry mount, trailed by 10 ogres in furs.

    Knowing that the trees will prevent a clean charge the Duo will instead content themselves on tiring the foe it before the main encounter closer to the town. Jason will content himself with firing off two arrows towards the leader as they hover above then turning back towards the town moving as fast as the trolls could run and providing no end of loud taunts, insults and rude gestures.

    Frankly the rock took them totally by surprise, neither of them expecting the giant had the strength or the accuracy to make that kind of shot. Nevertheless, they rode on spitting at the giant then ensuring they stayed in visible range but outside rock range as they flew the rest of the way back.

    Inosalon will take up a position on the town wall then, overlooking where the battle is expected to take place. She wants to try and be as far away from melee as possible while still in a position to hopefully cast some wizard spells.

    Grraa will lounge around on or inside the town wall if there is one. If there is an inside, he will hang near the arrow slit where he can hide and fire out. If there is not, he will hang near the battlements for cover. Grraa will also slot in his weapon and armor augment crystal (+5 AC vs ranged attack) before casting his spells.

    The fortifications are just a plank walkway on the inside of the wall.from the catwalk you have 25% cover. There is no cat walk, or anything else, over the missing gate.

    Do you want to be north or south of the gate?

    You can also take cover at the gateway.

    If you fall back from the wall you would be in town.

    This is meant to be an open field battle with the objective of saving the town from damage.

    The town wall is a log plisade. It is a fence made of logs.

    Jason takes a few more moments to throughly anger the ogres and have them tire chasing him but before they reach the forest edge he flies off to regroup with the others.

    The winds suddenly increase around her, whipping her hair and clothes from seemingly all directions at once, before her shape wavers and dissolves into a swirling, tornadic approximation of her form.

    We got fire mammoth incoming everyone, I repeat that's a mammoth on fire. Yells Hannibal as they soar int the clearing. And take big Johane out first! Yells Jason, He's lethal from any distance!

    With that they both position themselves 50ft to the side of where they expect the enemy to emerge and 60 ft up in the air.
