Madame Baladwell is not the type to traipse around the wilderness, she hates walking cause she's quite old you see.

"There are two things wrong with what you just said, so I'm going to give you exactly one chance to reconsider," Tifa states, walking up to the goblins.

Her demeanor to this point has been friendly, but at the hint of coercion to Madame Balladwell she's hardened, and now she's giving them the look usually reserved for unruly children or particularly unrepentant morons.

Alice speaks up as well, hoping that the goblins would be reasonable. "Please, let us see her, talk to her. We might be able to convince her to help, and then we can all go home."

In case that wasn't clear, Dayme pronounces distinctly, the CORRECT answer to the question 'can we see her and make sure she is here of her own free will' is a resounding 'of course, we wouldn't want to have any misunderstandings'.

The goblins are obviously terrified of Tifa, but to save face look the leader looks at Alice.

"We... we will allow one of... one of you... to ensure that she is here willingly..." The leader replies.

When Alice volunteers to move ahead alone, the expression of awe Beb got from hearing Tifa and Dayme speak is replaced with one of concern. But he simply says, "Come back soon."

Dayme gives the goblins a stern look, and says "How long will it take to get her to Madame Baladwell and back?"

Alice nods. "All right. I'll go, and talk to her."

Alice in the goblin tunnel's you see suffering. Sickness, wounds poorly treated. Way too much packing in.

Dayme gives the goblins a stern look, and says "How long will it take to get her to Madame Baladwell and back?"

"It... it... could be as much as a half hour." The goblin replies afraid.

Walking through the goblin tunnels, Alice looks over the sick and dying goblins with an expression of horror. They live like this? It's like they don't care what happens to them!

As you approach what seems to be the central chamber, you hear the shouts of Madame Baladwell yelling.

"Get off my lawn! You crazy kids!?"

Yup.. yup, that's Baladwell.

What do you do as you start the enter the chamber.

Alice frowns as the escort explains their trials of gods. "Maybe... some not evil gods? And thank you."

Entering the room, and hearing Madame Baladwell, Alice looks around, and takes in the scene, a smile starting to form.

Alice. The room looks relatively normal, so compared to what you've seen so far in the cave system, it's of unparalleled wealth and occuplence.

Two goblins noncombantants seem to be trying to tend to Madame Baladwell every need.

Seeing her, Alice calls out. "Madame Baladwell! You're ok!"

"Alice. Alice, is that you!? Get these crazy kids off my lawn. They're on my lawn." Madame Baladwell complains swatting at the goblins with a walking stick.

Alice lets out a short sigh, as the tension leaves her body. Madame Baladwell was all right. All she had to do was convince her to cure the goblin child. "I will, soon, but they're worried about their friend. Do you think you might be able to help her?"

"You kids don't know how lucky you have it! These days anyone can be a cleric, when I was your age you had to have enough wisdom to be a cleric. The gods didn't allow everyone to be a priest! And if you sucked all around, you had to be a fighter!" Madame Baladwell starts. "So why don't the kids just be some priests if they want healing."

Alice looks sad as she tries to defend the goblins. "Because their gods are evil, and want them all to die. And apparently, other gods don't want them."

"Don't you kids have this fancy shamncy clerics of concepts now. When I was a kid you had to follow a god, or your soul got tied to a wall!" Madame Baladwell replies with.

Alice sighs, and she finally reveals the true reason the goblins haven't been able to find a cleric. "Maybe they're just not wise enough? But can you help them? Maybe, if they can see a cleric be useful, they might do better?"

"Fine, when I was a kid though, you couldn't spontaneously cast cure spells, you had to prepare them, and only fighters got their con mod to hp!" Madame Baladwell replies.

The goblin does look to Alice for confirmation, seeming concerned that the cleric is so batty.

Alice smiles comfortingly at the goblin, and Madame Baladwell. "Wonderful! We'll be home in no time!" She turns to the goblin. "Would you be able to take us to the sick goblin?"

As you all start walking to cure the sick goblin.

Madame Baladwell is complaining.

"See when a pack of wyverns invaded our lawns, we didn't heal them." She starts ranting.
