    so my damage roll messed up for the big guy..and oh god i think i confirmed a crit on rurinn if nothing changes that turn ( both rurinn and curtis are up before the orcs)

    anyways ..fixing the damage roll here (3d6+6)[10] x3 for a crit

    Rurinn got a slight twitch in his mind, like he was forgetting something...then he remembered he always used potions in his travels! Just outside of melee range for the orcs, he rummages through his handy haversack for a snifter of...Mage Armor!

    He chugs it down and gains a forceful glow, adding +4 to his AC!

    The orcs close in on him, and they just can't touch him!

    Ortish lands a nasty number to Rurinn's arm, but it doesn't cut as badly as it could've, thanks to the mage armor!

    Dwarven curses are thrown about as Rurinn focuses less on taunting and more on fighting.

    Ok....so austyn decides tk join the fight after the orcs all take a swing and only the leader succeeds on dealing 10 damage to rurinn!!

    He aims his bow heroically!!! The arrow flies straight!! And it hits one of the people in the arm because he is pretty far away still even if i halved the room into 2500 and he is located on the altar

    so far though..

    Rurinn strikes suddenly and brings the first group of orcs down in a flurry of blows!!

    Feel like my bow isn't going to cut it.... So aushtyn keeps going all the while switching up his weapons for his sword whenever he makes actual contact with the orcs he will swing for attack.

    Rurinn manages to weave through the next couple attacks with ease...and then he gets sliced down to an inch of his vitality as he tries to remember how to parry. The phrase "mistakes beget mistakes" echoes in various voices in his mind. Why can't he deal with this one slice? Is he missing the tell? Did he not roll in time?

    Then he sees two of the orcs in front of him fall asleep. In a panic Rurinn tumbles forward to try to get to the source of the problem.

    so R4 leads with Rurinn dodging an attack as he moves up to strike Ortish! with a deceptively slow strike he hits Ortish in the solar plexus causing his face to turn blue right away and drop his axe!! ( stunned 1 round)

    group 2 and 3 orcs both suddenly drop to the ground with light snores and dreams of pillage as Curtis magic takes effect

    group 4 has 1 orc die from austyn suddenly appearing and dealing a terrible blow with his weapon leaving 1 orc remaining who strikes at austyn!

    Ortish spends the round gasping for breathe that he just cant seem to recover and looks slightly injured from the blow as well!!
    edit ( adding curtis R4) Ortish suddenly tenses up and slumps down into the ground his body actually shrinking as an arrow suddenly finds itself lodged into his chest!

    Austyn strikes quickly to follow up his other kill but misses due to haste!!
    R5 Curtis tells the orcs to back off since the leader is dead! Then follows up with an arrow thst kills the only orc that is not asleep with an arrow to the throat!! ( the obe austyn just missed) the rest of the orcs had already fled from the illusion and then defeat of their leader leaving 4 orcs sleeping on the ground!!

    The crowd slowly is calming down and inching towards the orcs with anger in their eyes!!!
    Rudof comes out from the wall and notices Rurrins plight!!

    as you rush outside the sunlight blinds you briefly before settling to a more normal glare and you find yourself staring out into a vast desert with the orcs already moving away at a quick pace..as you stare at them the ground seems to shake and a large worm-like creature appears and swallows the remaining orcs before falling beneath the earth again..hopefully thats the last time you see that creature for a while

    The dull roar of wounds unchecked and the screaming of the blood that remains are all that Rurinn hears.

    "Heh...ye black-livered cowards..." Rurinn murmurs at the fleeing orcs, then turns around to use his remaining adrenaline to coup de grace an orc behind him!

    there are plenty of dead..and quite a few wounded if curtis felt inclined to help..but in the meantime..Rurinn suddenly drives his foot through the skull of one of the remaining orcs that are sleeping killing it quickly and triggering what can only be described as a frenzy as the crowd starts to pile onto the other 3 orcs in an effort to get revenge! The incapacitated orcs stand no chance as they are slowly pulled apart by the crowd!!

    Rudof waits for the rage to subside then comes to offer his healing to Rurrin and whomever else is injured
    Wow that looks painful...il do what i can but without being able to call upon ___ my powers have been severly weakened..

    Rudof casts magic!! oh great ___ whereever you rest please grant a cure to those harmed by these events and let them know ____ is trying to watch over us
    Cure critical wounds!! (4d8+15)[31] but due to an unknown effect its only half as effective!! ( divide by 2 and round up)

    if thats not enough he attempts to keep casting it over and over untill someone either stops him or he has run out of spells for the day!

    Curtis will do some untrained Heal Checks on anyone who needs stabilising.

    Do not run through your magic so quick Rudof, you may need it if they return.

    How about you tell us where we are? I saw a desert outside
