Wasn't maintenance suppose to start at 11p Pacific time? That's 1a for the Midwest. I was hoping to spend more AP before going to bed but the maintenance already started at 10 Pacific time.

maintenance was scheduled for 21:00 PTD or 9 PM pacific, which is 11 PM midwest. for future reference this is the time that it will probably just about always be. it'll be over around 2 AM midwest time most likely.

Did a single 10 roll and got Anne&Mary and no event CE. The only swimsuit I don't want, oh well. Maybe I'll try for Mo after I see what I have left after banner 2...but Illya is coming up afterwards too.

i have spent my entire hoard of SQ, I think Tamamo got jealous of me thinking about spending any remaining pulls on banner 2 cause she only showed up on the last pull, meanwhile a heartbroken kiyohime never showed, and the pure greed attracted a total of 5 archer anne and marys, a rider mordred also showed up cause they understand you mess up sometimes. also got some random servants cause i spent many hundreds of hoarded SQ on this. got a second bezerkules, a beowulf, a carmilla, and an emiya archer.

meanwhile i thought having rider mordred would be cool, yet i never realized they were the perfect rider to become a main part of my team. and now i need a ton of seashells.

Well my first pull got me a ton of 3* dupe servants I'll likely sell...and Lancer Kiyohime, which is good and fun. I'll likely save quartz for the other banners and Prisma.

The comedy writing is just so on in events in this game, and this one is no exception.

I blew my tickets - but I'm saving my SQ - and got two event CEs. The 4-star +Stone CE (Dodge 1, +8% Quick), and the 3-star +Lumber CE (+3% DEF, +3% Arts). No Servants, but I don't mind; I'm not particularly intrigued by the first banner.

I imagine I could blow some tickets on it. Wouldn't be using quartz since I'm not interested in swimsuit waifus. Not more than Jalter anyway.

...yeah, I feel the exact opposite of that right now. Because I didn't catch I was on the wrong banner in time and did a quartz summon....a quartz multi-summon to be exact. When I only had enough Quartz saved for Illya for a single multi summon... Or two if I got lucky.

What'd I get? Five copies of Shining Goddess and the Atlanta CE, that's about it.

I read the guide, but the part 1 prologue is weird. I only got 2-3 wood for the advanced run. I'm supposed to run jungles 13 times to complete the first development?

First, make sure you have servants with wood bonuses in your party. Preferably a whole set of six, and do some FP summons to get the 3star CE, which also gives wood bonuses. Second, I've found the 20 AP Jungle quest gives more wood drops then the 30 AP one (with a full set of bonus servants anyway).

If you don't know what servants give what drops, Red Fel posted a good cheat sheet for that earlier on the previous page.

NP cards don't benefit no matter what the first card is, they are entirely self-contained. However, they are a good way to start off a chain.

In other words, you usually want your NP card at the start of a chain unless you have multiple NPs that you are firing off.

Well I'll be. I had no idea either.
But to be fair to myself, if I have an extra attack chain, I try to put the NP at the point where the enemy will die and the next attack will chain to the next enemy in line.

This is me, too.

Also, a lot of times, an NP carries an effect (e.g. DEF down) that makes subsequent attacks more effective, so I like to frontload them. The only times I don't are (1) as above, when I'm breaking up a chain so it hits multiple enemies (ProTip: If you put the NP in the middle of the chain, you can actually hit as many as three enemies with it), or (2) when I'm using an NP chain.

Because few things make me happier than opening with a support NP (that doesn't really benefit from NP rank up), followed by two damaging NPs (that absolutely do).

Farming food and water is probably the worst part of this event. The enemy distribution sucks and you can't properly focus on one drop over the other like you can with most of the rest.

i could be wrong but i don't think Tamamo is breaking the 4th wall. She kinda talks like that normally. doesn't help that the stories she was in first all take place inside an in universe computer, so she was literally in an in universe video game.

The dialogues are as fun as expected. Setanta and Scathach's are my favorite, it reminds me of Hollow Ataraxia's Cu Chulainn.

You can often find him in the docks, with his fishing rod and a hawaian t-shirt. He's fishing and remembering the good ol' days, you can even have him tell you his lore. He's carefree and has really fun scenes when Emiya proyects a really rare fishing rod and starts to compete with him, and even more when Kid Gil (Adult) goes fishing with a Gate of Babylon and tons of powerful rods, bringing all his kid friends.

By the way, I rolled the gacha and got nothing but the Nyatlanta Stone+1 CE, and two Boudica Lumber +1 CE. 39 SQ used there, but saving the rest for the lewd shadowboxer saint.

Yay, I got a reverse dragon claw, so my Saber Alter is now extra lewd ascended. Now I just gotta farm up a bunch of foreign god hearts. The guides are saying it's better to farm lvl 40 wood with max bonus instead of lvl 60 with almost no bonus, right?

Oh, that's what I was gonna ask - anyone have a favourite spot to farm for food drops? I'm probably going to try the beach, since food/water is a useful combo drop, at least.

Beach is probably the best place to get food until the Primeval Forest opens up. it is annoying that it and water are only available as a combo drop though.
