The enemy makes himself known, a shortish polearm stabbing for Shauna, turning visible an instant before it connects. Following the appearing shaft into a green hand, the group can see a snarling half-orc, dressed in black and red with a horned headdress. His muscles have swollen thanks to his magic, and he whips his weapon back. He managed to avoid the initial attacks

"The bitch Irabeth locked me up for a crime I didn't even commit!" he roars. "So I'll take my sweet revenge for that."

Shauna sheathes her weapon. "Irabeth is not at this place, nor will she return here any time soon. In case you haven't noticed, the city is under siege. You are either a very poor liar, or a very short-sighted planner."

Diamond says "Come with us, and we can mediate this. Violence will not reverse your time wrongly imprisoned, but it will make you guilty of another crime."

Diamond says this flatly, without emotion. He makes sure his pistol is loaded, and he makes the half-orc his studied target, but he doesn't intend to attack the half-orc.

"Hey!" he snaps at Shauna. "My plans are wonderful. This is almost as good as the one to burn that orphanage!" he declares. "Stupid half-human put a stop to that and now she's going to pay when she gets here. And you will help me, right?"

Her bow is still drawn, though not aimed at the evil orc.

Shauna sighs. "This man is a fool. I would say 'arrest him', but there is no method by which we might reasonably contain him at the moment. Exile him."

Astounded that there's even a debate on this issue to begin with, let alone that it's gone on this long openly in front of the person they're talking about, Skerak decides to settle the issue.

Luna was about to give her opinion about tricking the half-orc to go to Defender's Heart with them, and then turning him over to Irabeth. But, moot point now. "Sorry, Mr. Orphanage Burner, the only thing that's gonna burn now is YOU..." With that, the aasimar points a finger at the half-orc, and let's loose a bolt of flame!

When words like 'arrest' and 'exile' come up, the orc resumes a guarded stance, but has no time to do more before Skerak hits him square. Luna's fire blast strikes him as well. The confined space makes it hard for anyone to do much. The orc steps back, taking a total Defence action this round.

The orc, increasingly injured, roars, steps forward and stabs Skerak with his ranseur. The kineticist was clearly the strongest foe, and defeating him would save the day. The attacks are taking their toll on the enemy, however. He is slowing down, only sustained by his fury. There are no more words left for him, only a roar of rage.
