Jules lashes out against the creature, the fire of the blade burning it's dead flesh. It shrieks in rage and holds it's vicious blade above it's head. The undead general in flowing black robes lined with silver holds his hand out toward the reaper and some of it's torn flesh fuses closed. The reaper's eyes widen and jaw opens in angry hunger and swings down on Jules.
The blade barely hits, but it still feels as though a passing airship slashed across your ribs, surely breaking at least one and leaving unnatural cold((21 damage)). You feel a strange sensation passing through you, as if your body is attempting to scramble itself, but you manage to repel the terrible invasion on your molecular structure.

Éirianwen gasps as she watches the reaper pulverize Jules' ribs. Even just watching it made her flinch in imagined pain. Quickly she takes stock of the situation, looking for an opening.
