Dollars gets you donuts (which is not anywhere NEAR as good of odds as it was in my youth), Albia or her minions got that headline planted and delivered so Agatha would see it.

And "Croc god goes crying back to his mummy" is very much a tabloid headline I approve of.

Also, "Weather: wet" seems appropriate for a city that is several hundred feet underwater.

Well, it's england. Its either misty or wet.

Though in GG england I would be afraid if it said "Weather: misty"

I love that "Who is this fellow anyway?" article. Poor boy, it keeps happening to him.

Is it just me, or has the comic been toggling back and forth between story arcs a little much recently? I understand the idea behind cliff hangers and similar tropes. But it seems like the Foglio's have been relying on them a bit to much lately.

Amusing that the Moon evidently has two front pages, one for sportsball and one for everything else.

Do newspapers not have sports on the back cover in the US?

No, US papers tend to divide things up in sections, with Sports being one of the sections.

So does the UK, it's just that the sports section is traditionally at the back in our newspapers and often have their own headlines on the back page itself.

The real test for the Foglios will be in the XXXenophile:Girl Genius edition, if they get page 3 right.

"Croc god goes crying back to his mummy" IS good. Not as good as 'Headless body in topless bar", but still, good.

And I'm curious what effect the headline, photo, and suggestion of a romance will have on Wooster. Who has a thing for Trelawney, let us not forget.

The New York Daily Post has a sports "back page" to its editions, but very few papers in the US release in tabloid-style format anymore. The Chicago Sun Times is one of the only other major tabloid-style papers outside of NYC.

EDIT: Dang, I thought the CST had gone out of business...
