Hearing Rowan's plan, Goma smacks the air with his shield, sending the shock wave at the priest. After, Goma steps out of the way to clear a hole for Rowan.

The Water Prince zooms down the eastern side of the corridor, past his allies, to end up hooking around the priest to block access to the door. Khwaja Malak follows as far down the hall as possible to an open space, even if it puts him next to the priest.

The combined effort of the party was more than enough to drop the priest, who started to get back up before Riq's quick knifework finally put him down for good. Before he dropped however, the door was pushed open enough to show the river beyond it. What he planned to do when he got there is unknown. Coming back from the minor hallway, you see the meeting room, and the large table within.

Which way do you go now?

Akaash takes a moment to set his wounds to knitting themselves. "Resilient fellow, wasn't he?"

He inspects the body, relieving it of any valuables in the process.

There's not much of note on him. Other than his armor and axe, the only notable stuff on him is an alchemical syringe (type II) (i.e., a wand of cure moderate wounds, but as an alchemical item) that is at 3/4th capacity, and a unholy symbol of Rovagug make of obsidian and gold worth roughly 150 gp.

Again, do you go north or south?

"Let's return north to our last point," says Khwaja Malak. "We have been sent about randomly due to the 'shiny objects' known as enemies."

"Wait," interrupts the Water Prince, "this guy was running somewhere specific for a reason. I say we keep going south."

"I think he was running for back up. It might be best to head north and clear that area out instead of risking a pincer maneuver."

"I am inclined to agree with Goma." Alssariq says. "That man was running in fear, doing everything he could to slow us down. Going North is our best plan of action." While he speaks, he cleans and sheathes his blade and straightens out his clothes.

Akaash shows the others his findings, then stows them. "North it is then."

As you approach the door, you detect three minds in the room, but no living beings.

Khwaja Malak gets everyone's attention. He points to the door. He then seems to make a pointing over that door to show past the door. He holds up three fingers. Then he does a slice-the-neck motion while sticking his tongue out to the side.

Akkash nods, moving into position to strike when the door opens, mentally preparing to focus his blasts to be able to harm the undead.

Alssariq steps to the other side of the door, drawing his weapon again.

Rowan

Rowan lazily yawns as he watches the others prepare to breach the door. He decides to check his reserves of power and, finding them more than full enough, throws out a familiar effect onto the parties frontline fighters. They start to leave behind blurred images of themselves in their wake which makes it difficult to tell where they are precisely.

Entering the room, you see the ceiling arches up to a height of twenty feet, yet the thick, rotten smell in the air makes the room seem close and cramped. Three wide benches sit in the room facing a ten foot-wide dais at the far end. The wall behind the dais depicts an immense carving of a hideous arachnid monster creeping out of a hole in the world the size of a kingdom. The smell seems to be coming from the mounds of decaying bodies heaped to the left and right of the dais, bodies in various stages of decay and caked with wax from the drippings of dozens of fat, sloppy candles wedged in among tangled limbs, empty eyesockets, and battered ribcages.

Looking at the piles of bodies, you see the source of the three non-living minds; hidden among the bodies are a trio of ghouls; two to the left of the dais and one to the right.

"Well, isn't this lovely. We must find out where they get their decor." Akaash deadpans, trying to hold back a retch.

"Ghouls!" Khwaja Malak calls, and points, "There, there, and there." He then moves forth to get the happy-bubble moving forward as well (and to force the confrontation mid-room. He then sets out a chain blast to rip through the ghouls, softening them up for his allies.

He rolled a total of 34 on his Religion save to recognize Rovagug, which is actually 35 w/ greater serendipity.
MA: He then rushes forward, and takes cover behind a pew at a point that should cover the battle (25' worth movement, see submission map).

Goma, realizing that he's holding everything up, moves to the south west and throws his javelin with a shout, bouncing it back to his hand after the throw.

Rowan's blast took out the northern duo; the fires far more than they could face. As everyone else moved into position, Goma flung his javelin, stabbing one in the head. Needless to say, it didn't particularly like that, and either in an attempt to attack Goma in revenge or simply the more advanced parts of its brain being damaged, it ran towards Goma, headlong into Akaash's wall. And while the battering winds didn't hurt it, the force throwing him back into the wall certainly did, as he was thrown into it with such strength that his ulnas were stuck into the wall; leaving his arms hanging there in a sick display that actually really fit the decor of the room. There's not much else of note here.

With the ghouls no more, you see a door to the north. What's the plan?

"Well, they didn't last long, but it is still good that they did not touch us." He moves into position to be ready for Goma to open the next door.

"Anything interesting on the bodies?" Goma says as he stacks up at the door to the north. He opens it when the others are ready.

Rowan

Rowan continues to maintain his spell giving some of his allies a blurred figure. He moves with the group to check more rooms, not seeming keen to root through a rotten undead’s pockets.

Finding nothing of note on the bodies, you check the door to the north. Opening it, you see a long hallway to the east, leading down another ~70 feet, ending in another door.

"Why do we not have more foes that believe in simple, compact living arrangements?" Akaash jests, eyeing the hallway. "Onward?"

Goma takes point down the hall.

"This whole place feels off. It's a bad use of the space and if they're smugglers why are the halls so narrow? I'd want room to move past someone else to unload shipments faster or something to slow down pursuers." he says as he moves onward.
