That is #665, nonth panel, right after Roy's resurrection. Vaarsuvius is still paralyzed and drained, and somebody removes her cape to temporarily cover up Roy. We can only see half of a head and one arm of Vaarsuvius though. Vaarsuvius gets her cape back before her next appearance in #667.

Hmm. I thought it was the feather in Belkar's hat, but nope, that's not blue.

Update: heck, even the quill provided to Vaarsuvius in the library of Shojo's personal wizard is not blue. It's strange to see a red quill in Azure City.

Hm? No, you'd only need two strips- one with the page with MITD, and one where the demon roaches appeared, which took place earlier. You don't need to find their FIRST appearance, because if you can find ANY earlier appearance that means it takes place after they first appeared.

Although I think by the point you need to add a condition like that to your question, you might as well scrap it and find another.

It sounds familiar, but I can't remember where it's from- not even enough to narrow it down to a chapter or so. So I'd need a hint. Can't speak for anyone else, but if no one's responded for this long I think it's probably because they can't remember either.

Except that doesn't answer how the question (Just how sexy is Belkar?) was worded. Answering with the "As stubborn as he is stone cold sexy" using "Stone cold" to measure how sexy he is, even though "Stone cold" is part of the adjective. Easily fixed by changing the question to "How can you describe Belkar's sexiness" or just inferring "very" from the previous panel where his illusion is refusing to eat to answer.

It's not a bad thing to have questions guessed quickly. Difficult questions aren't necessarily better.

There are also ways to narrow it down without making it too obvious- you can indicate what chapter it's in, mention who it is that says something, point out something that happens on the same page, etc.

Gah! I've flicked through every page until Elan became a Dashing Swordsman, as well as every occasion I could remember where Elan sung afterwards, and I still can't find it! Did I flick past it by accident?

The closest I've found is this which has 11 notes, and this which has 10 but none of them are Elan's.

Comics I tried after Elan became a Dashing Swordsman include Elan singing while having his blood sucked, rub, rub, rub my father's face in my uselessness and Therkla's death.

The most notes in one comic seems to be on #41 with 14.

That'll rule out some possibilities for whoever tries after me.
