I'm more worried about her eyes. It seems like every so often Jeph gets an urge to draw everyone with gigantic anime eyes that don't match his art style, and in this case since Momo already has anime eyes he's gone over the top and made them the size of her head.

I just hope they don't have Marigold or Momo just immediately go "please take me to your overnight petting zoo!" the next time they see her. It could work for Claire because she gets overinvested in her fantasies regularly, but Momo in particular is supposed to be fairly grounded in reality.

They're both dead-end drudgery in a retail environment with horrible 24/7 opening hours, so it's an easy mistake to make. Especially including that time Hannelore went in and bought a packet of cookies, and May referred to it as a convenience store rather than a gas station.

Because gas station make quite a bit of their revenue from the store they run. In fact, some big markets run gas stations with significantly cheaper fuel prices just to bring in customers to their main source of income.

In the US at least, it has become more the norm than not for convenience stores to sell gas. So odds are, even if you say you are going to the gas station, you are going to a convenience store. Straight gas stations (selling no grocery items) are increasingly rare.

Getting to 50 pages isn't too long for a thread, but we aren't supposed to go past it. So we want to start a new thread before post 1500, which is the last post that ends up on page 50; 1501 is on page 51.

In other news, this is a perfect example of why I loath being part of a social species sometimes.

Dale can't just mind his own damn business, he has to try to figure it out with the rest of the "roomies". Momo can't mind her own business, she has to let her imagination get the better of her. If May doesn't clear this up, there will be more questions and gossip-mongering. Etc. And it's going to end up with May having to sacrifice the privacy she wanted just to get them all to knock it the hell off.
