Where "only a few rolls," in my case, was 90 SQ and 30+ tickets. But yeah, that's actually a higher frequency than usual. Could be RNG, could be that they deliberately made this banner more merciful since the Servants are (1) an extremely rare class, and (2) not going to recur for... what... ever? Was there even a rerun of this event?

Is it possible that the devs were slightly more generous with this event? Maybe. But I'mma chalk it up to the impartial randomness of a machine rather than the generosity of humans. The former just seems more likely.

Well..do I'm sitting at 85 missions done, all the things in the shop I really wanted bought, and characters I got to know and love ascended and acquired!

Melt is a badass and the star of the event but....Passionlip is just just a sweetheart. As in I literally caught myself thinking 'C'mon sweetie, just a little more NP...' which has only ever happened with Mata Hari. Both those two are great, Kiara is a great villain I can't wait to try and pull for though I don't expect to succeed.

...and since I beat Kiara on my first try (ambit it came down to the very last hitpoint on Cu), I think I might try Demonic Bodhisvitta Kiara madness and if that goes well maybe even...True Demon Kiara.

Working my way through all the Wanted missions at the moment. Some of them (like Altera, or oddly enough Jekyll and Hyde, or Tesla) are kind of brutal. A couple due to AoE NP, J&H due to casters being so low on damage and my having should have grabbed a friend Merlin instead of Melt.

Working my way through the missions as well, acquiring KP for the final boss. Will probably have to work through those during the weekend when I'm more available (and don't have a campaign to prepare).
I also realized while fighting Melt that I actually have very few single target knight classes, and not a single 5* one. Made the fight a tad tricky.

In Better news, I used my 5 monthly tickets on the first CCC banner. First was a Heavens Feel, then a Frankenstien who is going to be burned. Followed by a junk 3 star CE and Projection. So already feeling good with a rare prism I used my last. A gold ticket, with Jesters on it. Its Lip I thought quite happily. Wrong I was. Meltryllis showed her face, the luck is real. Meanwhile my brother spent money and used 400SQ for his copy, and here I pull her on a free ticket. My weird ticket luck for 5 stars is holding true.

i do not have the best servants for trying to hit kiara's weak points, probably shoulda gone arts stall team. but i did it and for some reason Mash and Rama survived her onslaught by themselves for over 15 turns, never being at more than 4000 health...

I mean, I'm in EST, so it actually is midnight, but when the dates are based on PDT, it throws me off as they actually mean the evening of that day, rather then right at the start. Always check the time listed. And its more that they release on that day, in preperation for the next. Daily missions roll over for me at 8pm. Oh and the times stated dont shift for Daylights Saving Time, so in the winter everything is an hour earlier for me.

I shudder to think of how much money they just made from people whaling for Kiara. I spent my tickets on trying to get her. Got some junk CEs and an NP2 Edgemiya. Not even mad, considering my amazing luck in the previous banner getting Suzuka and Melt.

I want an Arts as well as Quick Alter Ego... But I'm going to wait for Ilya, as I already have every Avenger, so it's not like I need her special anti-Ruler utility.

On the one hand, she's pretty potent on paper. Her active skills are strong, and receive upgrades in the future - an NP charge, an enemy NP drain and DEF debuff, and a "give me all the buffs" button. Likewise, her passives are excellent - two separate crit strength boosts, a bonus to defense against Humanoids (which pretty much all Servants are), and Nega-Saver, which basically turns her into an Avenger (in that it gives her extra damage versus Rulers, although no defense). That gives her Alter Ego advantage against Cavalry, plus advantage against Ruler, making her in some ways a better Avenger than Avengers. Her NP is likewise an AoE DEF-ignoring Arts blast that pierces invincibility and heals your team. On paper, she's amazing.

On paper. Before receiving her skill buffs, her damage is still low. Aside from Nega-Saver and her DEF-debuffing ability, she really has no offensive boosts. And again, if anything she's too specialized - against a specific enemy Servant class (e.g. Ruler) you'd rather bring a specialist. She may be more versatile than most Avengers, but she's not more damaging versus Rulers; likewise, if you're up against a Rider or Caster, you're better bringing an Assassin or Rider, respectively.

So, is she worth having? Well, if you want an Arts Alter Ego, she's it. And if you don't have an Avenger, she's a close second. But is she that amazing? Well, she's solid, but not a must-have.

And personally, I just don't like her.

In other news, Part 2 of the event dropped today, and I'm already knee-deep. Thankfully, I did some preparing for this, and in addition to already raising BB's Bond (to 5, actually), I've also leveled Melt to 70, 3rd Ascension. One of these things will actually be useful in Part 2.

Well I'm getting sick of farming Beast X. XD

...PATION! 14 or so ten rolls got me Kiara. And not just Kiara, but NP2 Kiara on the same ten roll. As well as NP3 Edgimya and 3 extra Liz for leveling mine to NP 4. Something like 18 Student Council and 5 Conquror of the Stars. Oh and a siegfried, which as I only have 3 gold sabers I'm going to keep and level. Had to buy three of the Max SQ purchases, but theres some left over so time to start saving for Summer.
As a catalyst after so many failures I had a picture of Beast 3 open trying to appeal to her narcissism. Turns out I needed to appeal to her envy as my screensaver turned on for a cascade of Nero pics and she didnt like me looking at people who arent her.
It very much was whaling but no regrets.

congrats!

nothing special in my pulls but i really didn't want any of the new servants past aesthetics. It's hard to save when you don't NEED anything. which was my main motivation for saving in general.


beast battle was clutch. (i was too lazy to unlock everything, so i just went with the stuff that supported my arts stall team) started off with orion and two caster tamamo's. 31 turns later it was just orion and ozy hanging on by the skin of their teeth. if she didn't spam buffs she would've killed the both of them... gotta love the ai.
