Anyway yesterdayay I went to my childhood school family picnic. It's was a little difficult getting there because in New York City tge trains are always messed up due to construction but nevertheless I managed to get there and I saw all my old teachers and friends at the school family picnic. There was food and even the gym was open to play basketball. I have a great time.

ION my chicken is grilling (I think it's 'broiling' for all you Yanks), I've dug my 'china-inspired' bowls out, and all the ingredients are in, time to try making Ramen properly (as in 'build up the stock myself') for the first time.

I like the non-striked version of this story the most. Just a cute lil chicken flippin' some good ol' burgers.

Well apparently Saturday was the official birthday of the Queen of England. Not sure why Sir Elton needs one, but there you go.

I'm seeing my doctor again this Wednesday. Continual tiredness, inconsistent levels of anxiety, and ideally getting help on dealing with social anxiety.

I am fighting off at least a second cold. This one I am loosing against. I can feel the congestion coming on.

My family is going on a 4-day vacation without me. My wife is a teacher, and she gets the summers off. I don't blame them, and hope that they have fun. All the same I will be lonely for those four days. I ordered a 14' deep-dish pizza with something like 1.5-inches of cheese, with peperoni and sausages. Imagine a bread bowl filled with cheese, or perhaps a cheese pie without the upper-crust. It will serve as my emergency rations while they are gone.

I wish that I had more sick days and more vacation days.

I picked up Division 2, and will likely be playing that to distract me from my cold, and otherwise. I am a little curious as to why often a headshot from a sniper-rifle will bring the NPC raider down to a sliver of heath. I am betting that it has something to do with a special ability that you can take to get extra XP from headshot kills. I would much rather be able to one-shot some NPC bandit with a sniper-rifle . . . that is a large reason why one would have a sniper rifle after all.

I also need to figure out how cosmetic clothing drops work in Division 2. I get a 2-3 quite rapidly, and then I get none for 8-hours. I find the cosmetic clothing drops fun, but the speed seems slow, and likely on some sort of timer.

Fun fact: left over watermelon slices left in the fridge for a week aren't quite as good as slices just cut from the melon. (Therefore, make a slushy, crushed ice and vodka recommended of you like drinking alcoholic beverages).
