What's the Damage of a Thrown Roy Greenhilt?
This is (obviously) just for the lulz... but...
Is it 1 object (paperweight improvised as boulder: Roy)?
or
2 objects: Roy (bludgeoning damage) + Sword (slashing damage, like a throwing Axe; just... you know... not an Axe)?
Does V require Proficiency - Exotic Weapon: Flying Meat Shield (like a Flying Talon; just... you know... not an Talon)?
Roy's sword is magical and slicing. Does that count like the magical razor-sharp talons of death Blackwing wanted?
SOOO MANY QUESTIONS!!!= = = = = = = = = =
Meanwhile, a tree branch falls to the ground and waits for the Fighter destined to awake him by pronouncing the true name "stick" and the almost religious care of a naive Bard.

Re: What's the Damage of a Thrown Roy Greenhilt?
Forceful Hand cannot throw an object, only push it. So you are making a melee attack, not a ranged attack. Since the hand has no class bonuses that give it multiple attacks per round, you can only hit with 1 object.
You are trying to hit a 35 AC Nightcrawler with a -4 attack penalty for using an improvised weapon. You will only hit on a natural 20.
A paralyzed Roy would have a damage of 1d6 bludgeoning. Even with a double damage critical hit, 12 damage is not enough to overcome the Nightcrawler's 15 damage resistance.
So the answer is zero damage. Blackwing's strategy is much better, play for the 5% chance of a hit from the Greenhilt Sword.Last edited by DaveMcW; 2019-04-23 at 02:16 AM.

Re: What's the Damage of a Thrown Roy Greenhilt?
Ever wondered how many games are mentioned in the comic? I have listed them all in a geeklist: https://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/2...es-order-stick

How to deal with Xykon:
Paralyze Roy.
Sling him around.
100% success!

Attention LotR fans
Spoiler: LotRThe scouring of the Shire never happened. That's right. After reading books I, II, and III, I stopped reading when the One Ring was thrown into Mount Doom. The story ends there. Nothing worthwhile happened afterwards. Middle-Earth was saved.
