    Default Hidden Diplomacy

With this spell, is the target able to identify that a spell has been cast on it through the normal spellcraft check? Does the spell shorten the amount of time to use intimidate to alter attitudes down to 1 standard action? Also does intimidate to alter attitudes even work on players?

    School enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]; Level bard 1, cleric 1, inquisitor 1, magus 1, mesmerist 1, psychic 1

    CASTING

    Casting Time 1 standard action
    Components V, S, M (a bent coin)

    EFFECT

    Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
    Target one creature
    Duration instant; see text
Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes

    DESCRIPTION

As part of casting this spell, you can attempt a single Intimidate skill check to make a target act friendly toward you. If you succeed, the target assists you normally, but hidden diplomacy clouds the memory of any threats or pressure you applied. The target remembers assisting you, but can’t remember why, and its attitude toward you doesn’t worsen as a result of being intimidated.

Whether a creature fails or succeeds at its saving throw, it becomes immune to further castings of hidden diplomacy for 24 hours.

They would get a chance to do that but it would be irrelevant if you succeeded (due to the memory-clouding effect.)

Yes, the specific line in the spell that you can intimidate as part of casting it trumps the general rule on Intimidate's timing.

Not unless other players are considered "opponents" in your campaign, in which case your GM likely has a lot of rules that need modifying to facilitate this kind of PvP environment.

In general, only NPCs have "attitudes" (e.g. Friendly etc.) - PCs can choose how they wish their characters to behave towards anyone in the world, including each other. You can choose as a group to set that aside for a certain kind of campaign, but you're going outside the basic assumptions of Pathfinder at that point.
