I played, but it's hard to keep the Realms-lore from overwriting everything. Still, you do helpfully label everything.

Now, I just need to figure out what I'm throwing at the players next...

Planescape is awesome, but yes, I am too young to have played it. The figures for the celestial eladrin are all incredibly cool, some of my favorites from all the sets. I will use them somehow.

I absolutely love the artwork. And especialy the details. As a chemist I can definitely apreciate the green copperoxide on the Ancient Copper Dragon.

Yay bards! I just started playing a halfling bard!

As someone who created 4 Kickstarter accounts to pledge on multiple tiers, I completely understand this not being free. The first four sets were amazing.

The miniatures are so amazing I'm happy to pay for them! Thank-you. I look forward to Summer 2 (gotta catch them all)

There was already a Tarrasque in the 2017 Monster Calendar, so I'm guessing you probably didn't buy that.

There are firbolgs! And catfolk! This is perfect for where my group is in Tomb of Annihilation!

Also, I work in a USA based print shop. Pro tip: print on 70lb or greater vellum and you don't need coins. Also, if you have a guillotine paper cutter, the long straight cuts are a snap.

It seems like every time a new one of these sets comes out, they always contain at leas one monster that I really needed for a story arc that just finished before the set was released. In this case, my players just defeated a pack of werewolves that they'd been fighting for most of the campaign in our last session. I'd been using gnolls from the last Spring set for them this whole time. XD

Still, great work as always, Rich! I look forward to using these!

Question Re: All-New "Monster for Every Season" - Spring 2!

I love it! I've been using AMFES for my campaign, and I always flip through them before every session looking for monsters to include. I'm looking forward to adding some serpent people to the next adventure.

Question: what kind of box do you all use to store these? I'm keeping them in a cardboard box, but as they get cut out, it's filling up and getting disorganized.

I've been thinking about this myself as my collection grows, and I think what I may try is binders with those multi-pocketed pages for holding trading cards. If I use paperclips to hold the bases of the minis together instead of taping them, I can just flatten them out after a session and slip 'em back into their pockets. It'd even make keeping them organized easier.

I use an old multi-tray tackle box (that used to hold my old, less than ideal minis collection).

I laminated them, and After cutting they go into a file binder. One plastic page folder per amfes page.

I keep them in order of printing so i can find them in a few seconds.

I'm doing similar at the minute, got 8 single-layer tool-box-tray things with different compartments But its still taking up a lot of room...

Oooh I like this idea! I might have to go out and get paperclips tomorrow to see how well it holds them together. I've got a load of the multi-pocketed pages as I got them so I could give my players weapon/ability cards (they're all pretty new so I figured giving them some way of easily seeing their 'standard' options was helpful).

I love those so much. I don't know if I'll ever use any of them but it doesn't matter, just looking at them is worth the price.
Add me to the list of people who loved watching the Copper Dragons oxidize as they aged. Also quite happy to see the various cat people and the mewotaurs.

EDIT: For storage, the idea of trading card binders seems pretty good, especially since they make pages for mini-cards (16 per side) which would hold the small miniatures pretty well.

I took one look at the recommended price and I thought "get lost! no way am I paying $6 for this!".... so I paid $12 instead.

What do you guys suggest I use for an Aarakocra monk? The Avoral figures somewhat look to humanoid-ish. Are there alternatives? How would you suggest editing?

The avoral is probably best bet, as it's about the only option with feathered wings.

Does anyone know if we can use the minis from AMFES as avatars on this site, either in original form or edited?

Not a lawyer and not Rich, but my guess is that he'd be fine with it. Rich seems to have gone out of his way to make his fans/customers feel comfortable about using his digital products for whatever personal function they want (I think this is why he only includes a watermark on the cover page of the book PDFs, for example, something I believe is not standard for the industry). I'd assume having a mini you bought be used as an avatar for your profile on his website would be ok.

Again, though, I'm not Rich. He may very well feel differently, and as the creator of the minis I'd defer to his opinion on the matter if/when he responds to you.

I would assume that it would be problematic, especially in the original form, because of the ease of which digital copying can occur. Someone could easily just save the picture of your AMFES avatar upload, and then use that miniature without having to purchase it.

Yes, that. I would venture that of all the examples of his art that you could use, something he actively sells as just that image is right at the bottom of the list of "would he potentially be okay with this."

"All-New" literally just means "Everything in this is new, there are no things copied from any previous version of this". Not everything has to be a reference, you know? Or are you suggesting Amazon are deliberately referencing the X-Men with this item?
