    “Okay,” says Grey Wolf.
“I’ll take that bet! Main Street is the default way to walk to get to Taco Bell. Also, I’m going to shove everyone who walks down Main Street.” says Peelee.

The bet is on!! Grey Wolf hangs around the intersection. Whenever someone walks up, he says, “Don’t go that way. There’s a crazy person who’s shoving people on Main Street. Skinning their knees. Take Maple Trail.”
Occasionally, Loki drives up at that moment and says, “Maple Trail is so long! I’ll give you a lift!” Most people just walk.

Later, Peelee owes Grey Wolf a beer. He’s outraged! “I didn’t think you would tell them how to get to Taco Bell without getting shoved!”

But... he sorta coulda figured it out for himself.
Finally, a perfect analogy! Of course, now I owe GW a beer, but I suppose that's the way it goes sometimes.

Perhaps it is a non-alcoholic beer? (I think little of them, but people I know like them, so there's that.)

Is it low in hops? I'll drink beer if it isn't particularly hoppy.

My own belief is that most people who "don't like beer" actually don't like the taste of hops.

BTW: Does anyone else find it hilarious when people advertise beer as having "no preservatives" when it has hops. One guess as to WHY hops was historically added to beer.

Obviously, the proper course of action is to pour the beer out as a thank-offering to the Gods of Gaming for all the many hours of fun you've had. Or I guess that GW has had, since it's his beer.

This got me thinking that this might have been a test by loki to see who was the better strategist between thor and hel.

One was a drunkard, the other was a petty god who couldn't see the long term implications of a new world.

Who was better at collecting souls? Perhaps ironically enough, the drunk got his act together and raised the dwarves to be super honorable for like 99% of them, while hel got a small amount of them, due to lacking the insight to forsee that thor could use the legal means that gods have to recruit/save them.

Also, if hel does succeed, will she become an honorable god in the next world? odin changed due to implications of the last world. What other gods have changed in the time span between worlds?

I like that there are certain implications that might have made certain gods different over time based on who was in their part of the afterlife in their jurisdiction.

Plus it does seem to confirm hel is a poor long term strategist.

Now all I can think about is what it takes to get a God drunk. Surely it's not mortal beer. I bet it's some kind of super-divine, super-alcoholic ambrosia-laced ginger beer.

Corollary, I think a lot of people that "don't like hops" just don't like the handful of super-citrous that basically every single craft brewery abuses of. Seems like at least half of all IPAs now contain Citra. Add in the next 3 most popular similar hops, and that's probably well over 95% of IPAs.

    I love hops, hate Citra.
