Re: Not-So-Mith'd Opportunity: Random Banter # 222
Some programmers wanted a more elegant browser than Firefox without the RAM glut of Chrome and made a browser called Opera. It was great, had super neat features and was really sleek. Others got involved, it slowly became a Chrome clone. The original guys weren't fans, so they went out and made another browser, Vivaldi. Back to sleek elegance, and they went ahead and made even more super neat features, like stackable tabs and mouse gestures and all sorts of things.
Tl;dr - it's a browser you should absolutely check out if you're not already totally married to your current one.Cuthalion's art is the prettiest art of all the art. Like my avatar.

I only partially understand:
I reacted to Delauded, an opiate, with heaving gnarly all over a doctor. I have been on that stuff before in 2013 and I felt like needing to itch my skin, even in my sleep. I was given Benidril for the histamine reaction.Has any one seen my jar of anti-protons or my cyclotron of positrons?

Re: Not-So-Mith'd Opportunity: Random Banter # 222
Only ever had dilaudid once, when my appendix went bad. I was in so much pain that I was nearly dying in any position other than laying down (which still hurt like crazy, just slightly less). When they finally called me back, they popped that stuff in, and I swear this is the best way to describe it:
Spoiler: The visuals, not the dialogue. Though after a minute or two the dialogue may have been on point as well.
I could feel exactly where in my body it was, because it was a literal wave of painlessness that just washed over my body. After that everything went pretty well, but dang, I'd like to shake the hand of whoever formulated that drug. That was one hell of an effect.Cuthalion's art is the prettiest art of all the art. Re: Not-So-Mith'd Opportunity: Random Banter # 222
Imagine if you were on Jeapordy, and the answers you had to find questions for were "Yes" "No" "Maybe, but it'd take forty-three cans of paint-thinner and a Russian weightlifter" and "Oh no! It's actually forty-two cans and a Prussian weightlifter! We're doomed!"
I use braces (also known as "curly brackets") to indicate sarcasm. If there are none present, I probably believe what I am saying; should it turn out to be inaccurate trivia, please tell me rather than trying to play along with an apparent joke I don't know I'm making.

I honestly don't see how having all those tabs open is actually convenient in any way. They'll be so small that you have to pixel hunt to find the one you want, whereas bookmarks will generally always have their full name and can also be organised into sub-menus, meaning you don't have to scroll through all 500 of them if you have a rough idea what you're looking for.

Re: Not-So-Mith'd Opportunity: Random Banter # 222
The premise of Jeopardy is that you're given answers and have to find the questions. I gave two hypothetical answers that were too broad to have single questions unambiguously associated with them, plus another that involved some weird noodle-implements, and a final one that implies, if the questions were also present, that the hypothetical conversation the questions and answers were sourced from (which isn't how Jeopardy actually works) involved a critical mistake resulting in a very big mess.

Re: Not-So-Mith'd Opportunity: Random Banter # 222
That is far too high concept of a joke for Jeopardy. Shoulda gone with the implicit understanding that at one point someone will have to say "What is love?" on stage and if it were me I don't know if I wouldn't be able to stop myself from singing the song in doing so. I would get dinged and the fancy Canadian man would make fun of me and then I'd spiral into despair and not answer a single question right for the rest of the show.

Literally all the time but like the other poster said you misread my post. Alex Trebeck is a king of dry humour and I don't think I'd feel bad if he roasted me over a grill.
You'll rip my desire to spell very specific names wrong from my cold dead hands. Megaman, Jeopardy, Spiderman. Break your chains.Last edited by LaZodiac; 2019-07-11 at 10:42 AM.

Re: Not-So-Mith'd Opportunity: Random Banter # 222
You're both very welcome.
I tried explaining these to my boyfriend, but he's had his tonsils removed so he'll never understand my pain and horror.
I was eating when the first ever surfaced. I bit into it thinking it was just a bit of food. Nope. Nope. Nope.
I'm allergic to soy, and seems like the whole world wants to kill me now, as soy is a cheap filler, so a lot of stuff has either soy protein or soy lecithin added.....
Nice! How long have you been doing reviews?Originally Posted by LaZodiac
