Transformers (2007)
Hey everyone. I'm going to throw In another oldie which happens to be Transformers (2007)
Spoiler: My Thoughts On Transformers (2007)The live-action movie of Transformers is about when robots wage an ancient war on Cybertron. On Earth, A human boy named Sam Witwicky brought a car who happens to be a robot called Bumblebee. Then more robots showed up on Earth. Optimus Prime and his team called Autobots explain the robotic war against Megatron and his team called the Decepticons wanted to take over the world and the universe. This movie was awesome. It has a lot of action and comedy. It's a perfect movie with no flaws at all. It's award-worthy in my opinion even though the movie was released in 2007. I'll give this movie 5 out of 5 stars.

I doubt you'll find anyone who agrees with you on any of those points. Including the cast, many of whom refuse to even discuss the movie or the director any more.

I'm glad you love the movie. I watched it in theatre when it came out and regretted that experience.

Re: Transformers (2007)
There have only been two good Transformers movies... Transformers: The Movie, and Bumblebee.

Re: Transformers (2007)
It's significantly better when you're paid to watch it, I'll grant it that.

I totally recommend it, then. It's really fun, I think you'll enjoy it. Should be on Netflix, if you have it.

Re: Transformers (2007)
I don't think it's terrible by any means. I think it's just the franchise kept getting worse as it went on. I've only seen the first three, so take that for what it's worth.
But from what I can see, TF falls into the same problem area that Star Trek and Star Wars have. General audiences who aren't really fans of the respective properties went and probably enjoyed the hell out of it, while those of use who were long time fans probably had a number of things we could complain about and nitpick at, but as a whole we let it go. We all said "OK, that was alright, and they didn't screw up super horrible. Now that they've got all this junk out of the way (setting up lore/establishing characters/etc.) the next one will be better."
And the sequels, depending on how you feel, were worse, or possibly just "meh". For my part, I thought the first Transformers movie was pretty good. Sure it had some seriously dumb stuff in it, but I felt it did pretty good overall.GMing

Re: Transformers (2007)
Well, it certainly was the best of the new Transformers Movies.
Not that thats a particularly high bar, mind. Still, its not that bad, and does have some really good moments (also it shows off how good a certaina ctress looked before she became a Plastic Doll^^).
And no, I dont count Bumblebee, it doesnt fit into the mold of the others (luckily) even remotely. ^^A neutron walks into a bar and says, “How much for a beer?” The bartender says, “For you? No charge.”

Later: An atom walks into a bar an asks the bartender “Have you seen an electron? I left it in here last night.” The bartender says, “Are you sure?” The atom says, “I’m positive.”

Re: Transformers (2007)
Transformers 1986 was way better. (I mean, actual Transformers were the central characters for a start...) Granted the first live-action one was qute enjoyable for what is was... But no more than that, and the others were worse; I totally lost interest at three and nothing since has tempted me back.
Also, I laughed at 2007 being an "oldie."

Re: Transformers (2007)
I think the biggest single thing I hate about the movie is how every robot looks like someone just shook up a jar of chrome shavings and called the the character design. It's hard to tell most of them apart.

Re: Transformers (2007)
I remember enjoying it, but not because it was good. More because it was bad in some of the right ways.
I have no particular desire to watch it again, and am baffled by why you do, Bart, but hey, you like what you like. You enjoy it.I have a LOT of Homebrew!
