After studying his spellbook and briefly meditating, the woodsman stands. "I'll hunt us some game. Go ahead and ask the questions without me." Privately, Atherin admits to himself that he just doesn't want to be around the necromancy.

The ranger readies his bow, grins at his companions, and follows the deer tracks into the woods. His leather-dressed dog accompanies him, nose to the ground, but he leaves hawk Aeriaphos and horse Tyatherialis at camp.
