On another matter, I wonder if Tinna has any zodiac-related spell now prepared for this situation, sinc she had the oportunity to prepare spells before coming to the battle.
Each one of us, alone, is but a drop in the sea
Our powers pale compared with the great heroes
Our battles don’t hit theheadlines or shake the earth
But they are few, can’t be everywhere, and we, many
So, when the world or universe needs saving, they come
But when people needs saving, we are the ones to appear
We're underdogs, but we rise up to the challenge to be heroes.

They arent loud and annoying (or at least you dont need to hear them) if you chuck them in a pit. It not like they need to be fed or anything. Dead babies dont require care if youre evil.

Like I said- Hel probably won't have an issue with getting baby souls, but she sure as herself won't get into an argument for one.

I think the point being made, which I agree with, is that Hel wouldn't actually have to deal with the babies. Even if they aren't much, they're something and she'd have no reason to refuse them, and probably ample leverage in arguing "no, this baby didn't die doing anything honorable".

Assuming there would be an argument to begin with; these last couple strips made it apparent that some things are considered so clear cut that even Thor won't contest them under normal circumstances.

Davy Crocket once killed him a bear when he was only three. Paul Bunyan destroyed the British navy when he was a baby. And baby Superman probably did something awesome, probably with baby Batman.

So clearly babies are capable of feats of incredible heroism and bravery.

I see no reason a dwarven baby who *wasn’t* killing bears, sinking warships, or fighting evil with baby Batman *wouldn't* be sent to Hel.

That's why I love DC more than Marvel. Marvel heroes ran around fighting threats to the universe. DC heroes were trying to stop their girlfriends from getting hit songs with celebrities and being doomed to eat hamburgers nonstop lest they die.

Silver Age DC is utter nonsense, and I love it (by the time the age even started there had been over 400 Superman stories, and a similar amount of Batman ones), they were so crazy that DC's heroes girlfriends and best friends had their own comic books.

The "Adventures of Unnamed LexCorp Sanitation Crewman #3" series struck me as stretching it a little, but it has some good moments!

DC has two separate B or C-Listcomedic stretching characters (Marvel has only one C-List comedic stretching character), and a a character named Matter-Eater Lad, it wins.

Frequently being concurrently the smartest and dumbest person in the room is pretty dang comedic.

Also A list implies importance/power/ect in a way for a person to make fun of a character by ranking them lower and I'd expect often correlates with amount of appearances increasing the chances for being comedic.

Also you went with Matter-Eater Lad earlier instead of Arm Fall Off Boy. Shame on you.

Of course Reed has comedic potential, but those stick in the minds that write most “important, interesting and not absurd on the face of it” heroes don’t recognize it.

Fun fact: I wrote Arm Fall Off Boy first but they treated Matter-Eater Lad as seriously as Lightning Lad (it was the Silver Age so not that much), they didn’t let AFOB in the Legion due to his powers being too dumb.

    Yeah, mostly joking.
Also, Reed's the only stretchy Marvel Guy I know.

I mean the two DC guys I at least know from the various cartoons, but Flatman?

I know Flatman, but I had no idea it was him you refered to. How many lists are there? The Great Lakes Avengers is one of those things I don't assume anyone knows about, not even self-proclaimed comics fans.

I assume one of the DC guys is Plastic Man by the way. The other might be Elongated Man, not quite sure if he counts as comedic.

I say there are four lists, A-List (Reed, Bruce, Clark, Logan, Peter, Tony since 2008, Diana, Barry), B-List (****, Oliver usually, Blade, Constantine on and off, Daredevil, Plastic Man, Beast), C-List (Booster Gold, Nova, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Squirrel Girl) and D-List (Arm Fall Off Boy, 3-D Man), you can divide them up with plusses and minuses to get more specific, I count the GLA as C-list because they will able to get a recent revival and aren't swept under the rug.

EDIT: Oh and Kantaki? Flat-Man's powers are the same as Mr. Fantastic, but when he uses them he's flat as paper.
