The woman, spotting Leff (as she is not blind or deaf) swoops by, hovering some 40' in the air almost directly above. "Now what have we here? Survivors! Jack's gonna be real happy with me when I bring back your corpses!"

Variel moved directly beneath the floating mage and raised his glaive as though in challenge. "You're here for us, then come down and get us!"

Would he have any way to tell if her flight and swarm of glass is generated by a spell (i.e. subject to Dispel Magic) or an innate ability? If he doesn't know (or if he knows the effect cannot be Dispelled) he will cast Command with the instruction to "Approach" (DC 15 Wisdom negates). Variel speaks a word of some power, and the woman is affected. She swoops down, landing just next to him.

Bugging out, the woman flits away towards the sky, stopping about 30' above you. As she flies, she begins to sing, her voice a beautiful song.

She stops a moment, her melody turning a bit harsher as a wave of glass surrounds Variel.

Variel grunted in frustration as the woman entered melee just to flit back out again. It felt uncomfortably like being taunted. As the glass shards skidded from his armor, he spat his own taunt in return. "I'd run too, if that was all I had!" He pointed his glaive at her again. "Approach!" he bellowed.

She approaches again, descending and landing. Her melody grows a little harsher and filled with swears as she does.

"Well, that failed spectacularly" Eris says, coming out of hiding.
"Let's see if I can stop her from running, yes?" she continues, moving up to the spot the Discount-Siberia is going to land, cold determination seeping inside her mind.

Leflabah's hand clasped around her vial of bat guano and a pinch of sulfer. The time had come.
"Kadör Ahash!" she roared, and conjured an explosion that would wrap over not only the glass mistress but over as many shards as possible. She then moved to envelop the woman once again in her golden fire.

Leff lifted her hand and twirled it three times, with miniature balls of fire emerging and orbiting above her ear with each full revolution.
"Rei-eeh harokh!" her amplified voice belted out. Her twirling hand stopped its revolution and she pointed at the glass woman. The orange fire balls became streaks firing directly at the enemy.

She begins moving and weaving in odd ways as she takes to the sky once more. As she goes, she takes a moment to slash out with her glass at all of you.

Going 30' into the sky while Dodging, then pausing just a moment to hit you all with a DC 17 Dex save. (2d8)[4] magical slashing on a failed save.

Then moving the last of her 30' straight up, ending 60' above you all.

"You cannot escape judgement, wretch!" Variel's voice boomed out again over the battle. He pointed at their airborne tormentor, heedless of the glass shards now finding their way through the gaps in his plate, as he called out once more: "APPROACH!"

"HA! I see a pattern" Eris says, reading her stance.
"How much will you bet I'm ending this with the next attack?"

She comes down, once again, but this time without anger. With fear. As Eris swings, shards of glass try to intercept, but fail to meaningfully slow the attack.

She drops to the ground, temporarily silenced. The glass drops as well, clattering around you in a gentle rain.

Her eyes are wide, and she seems in shock for the moment-but not unconscious.

Eris points her greatsword at the woman's stomach, inches away.
"Not. A. Movement" she says, staring at her directly in the eyes.
"Anyone got a rope? Manacles? Constrictor snakes? I left mine at the city... the rope, not the snake. Or the manacles, for the matter"

She blinks rapidly, seeming to come to. She takes a deep breath, but looks at the sword. And, instead of singing, speaks. "Or what? You'll gut me? Kill me in cold blood?"

Leflabah took a deep breath, and the golden fire around her withdrew into her mouth and nostrils for when she needed it later.
Slow-burning fire is what allowed for civilization. It is our mission, it is our privilege, it is our burden to burn fast and bright.
Didn't die today. Sorry, mom.

Leff packed as many glass shards into her component pouch as would fit as the barbarian dealt with her particular idiom. When she heard the squabble between them she returned to the group.
"No, but the refugees doubtless left some rope behind. You all go and get some, I'll watch her."
Leflabah then addressed the question, lifting up her hand and turning it in time with the fire she conjured from her hand, as though she had struck matchtips at the ends of her fingers.
"Heavens, no. I'd just burn your eyes out so that you wouldn't threaten me and mine. Then again, fire doesn't really know when to stop."

"Try it. Isn't torture against your code?" she replies. "Come on. You're a bunch of gutless, spineless worms. You'd never do anything!"

"Are you seriously taunting the one person here with a costant hot blood?" Eris says, retracting her weapon after being certaing that Leff has her under control.
"Besides, I'm pretty sure some people here don't consider burning someone's eyes as torture but rather as precaution. You did make glass shards fly in our face" with that she leaves to find a rope.

It takes only a few moments of searching for you to find ample rope.

The woman doesn't stop talking, though, saying "Come on-Jack knows you better than you know yourself. There's no way you'd ever do that. Poor, helpless little prisoners get the good life."

"Try it. Isn't torture against your code?"

"Well, because of your friend with the flesh monsters, we haven't been initiated yet."
Leff kept both eyes and her flaming hand pointed at the prisoner while Eris worked with the rope.

"Who's Jack? Please don't tell me you refer to yourself in third person" Eris says, proceeding to tie her hands behind her back.
For good measure she ties her feet too.
"So, who sent you? The Slaughterhouse?were you chasing us or are you here for another objective?" Eris sits down, sighing. The excitement from the fight was leaving her and she felt like she needed sleep.
"Could someone check her for magic? Specifically the "Find me I'm here" kind of magic?

Leff glared for another second, the fire reflecting in her eyes... or maybe it was just her eyes. Then she closed her fist and the flame died.
"Yeah, give me a few minutes. I still won't be able to gather specifics without a pearl."
She sat down on the ground, but didn't begin her primordial chanting just yet.
"Did either of you think to bring any food to the ceremony? I certainly did not."
She then began her chanting, her native tongue spilling from her mouth.
"Laz-hote kesmeym. Ra'ah kishoof. Laz-hote kasmeym..."

Variel stood smugly back as the others interrogated their prisoner. "Cutting her vocal cords would be a justifiable safety measure. But then she'd have to write her answers to all our questions." With a few gestures, his glaive dissolved into smoke before forming up again as a sword, which he sheathed at his hip. "I suspect Jack doesn't know jack ****, about me at least—feel free to prove me wrong—whatever he may know about my new friends here. I would make you eat that glass. I think we both know by now that you'd do it if I told you."

She seems legitimately scared-worried that you'll actually start torture. She opens her mouth wide, in a melodious scream.

The glass pours in, rushing to her and lacerating you all as it does. When it clears...

She's still there. Eyes closed, a little blood trickling from the gaping wound in her gut. It's large, made larger by the many small lacerations around it.

Leflabah lifted her shield but her right arm received a cut near the elbow. She lowered her arms and looked at the cut-up woman before her.
"Lahaböt lok'höt oh'tah!" she swore in Primordial, abandoning the spell for now to rush to her.
She looked over the cuts and felt along the neck for a pulse, her other hand tapping her head.
"Hadrackah," she muttered, and her eyes lit up and her senses improved with her casting.

"THAT B-" Eris screams covering her face, jumping up in rage.
"Alright, alright, before I lose it comp-" she stops mid-sentence as Leff checks the woman.
"I'm pretty sure THIS is the only thing that should touch a woman that just injested a ****load of glass shards!" she screams, unsheating her weapon and towering over the lady.
How's she? Can I stab her? PLEASE?"

"I can't tell how she is, but we need her for questioning!" Leff laid a hand on the woman's wounds and spoke more Primordial. White fire went over the cuts, doing a rudimentary job closing the wounds - enough to keep a dying person stable.

"Hah'soof et hagoses."

As Lef places her hand on the site of the most grievous injury, something rather unexpected happens. The woman's eyes snap open as something moves under her skin. Her spine rips it way out of her through the injured site, wrapping around Lef's hand and arm. She screams out with more melodies, summoning the glass around her to action, as the tendrils at the end of her spine reach for Lef's mouth. Her leg's flop on the ground, only partially connected now.

Okay. Little bit of DM fiat, but I feel it's reasonable-Lef, you're grappled. I feel like the surprise and nearness make that a reasonable thing to have happened. You can still move, but you're taking her with you if/when you move.

Then, she'll be making a grapple check:

It'll take your usual "replace an attack" next turn to get her off you, and you'll need to succeed on one per each failed opposed check, plus the initial one.
