Master Warrior class name
What's a good name for a "Master Warrior" type, like if the kensei monk were the default class instead of an archetype (Master is taken by another in the set, so that's out of the question), The expert fighter and master of on-field strategy, acrobatic and agile combatant that is one with their blade

I like to create builds and see them as optimized as powerful. I also have an annoying habit of having gratuitous character ideas and used to regularly ask to switch them out, or ask for small, against-the-rules, caveats to see a character come to completion without being hopelessly useless.
While I have kicked a few of these habits, or at least slowed them, I try to keep all of my builds/ideas across as few, as official, and as popular rulebooks as possible as to avoid annoying everyone else.

Re: Master Warrior class name
Your description sounds like the modern usage of myrmidon as an evasive swordsman. 5e dnd has elementals based on this concept in Princes Of The Apocalypse.

Re: Master Warrior class name
I don't think that was so much blunt as vague.
You are correct that I am encouraging taking concepts at least some people using your writing would are already familiar with in order to make your own [whatever you're making] easier to follow. I just don't see any difference as a result of where your class is going to appear; it's equally usable.
If you want a suggestion of an entirely unique name, I suggest Omc8wnebagi. No one reading it will get any inkling of what the term might refer to, but hey, it isn't taken from any existing source.
Otherwise, maybe sift through some books, games, game systems, movies, Homeric epics, or other existing works to get or modify a term from (Within copyright law, of course). As mentioned, I think Myrmidon is an appropriate option matching your initial description, given the modern usage of the term (in contrast to the medieval and classical usages).
