My Prairie born self remain unconvinced that most of the above mentioned lakes are not in fact seas that decided to lengthen the strait between them and the oceans to lower their salt content.

In all seriousness, first time I saw Lake Superior, my brain kinda just shut off (flying over it in an airplane and being unable to spot shorelines from that hieght for a while was a bit much).

A lawyer and one of his assistants is up in our office today and the assistant in question is basically a roaming, sentient cloud of weed smoke and it could not be funnier. Just this completely stable and normal person going about doing legal work, while also smelling like a rope store caught on fire making everyone around her sleepy.

    They have enemies:

    Anti-Tier Man, Anti-Tier Woman, Anti-Tier Boy and Anti-Tier Girl.

They have the same powers expect they use negative energy to increase their powers from Bottom Tier to God Tier.

I'd say we don't even know their powers. As listed, it's just "their power is to increase their power." That doesn't really mean anything.

There's nothing here to think about. You given us a name and literally nothing else to work with.

How does their power increase? Is this a Goku situation, wherein they advance by finding their limit and break it? Is it like Steven Universe, where they gain power through emotional connections and understanding? Maybe it's like 40k, where higher tiers of power are potentially planet-ending and liable to corrupt/destroy your mind? Or perhaps they require some great sacrifice?

What kind of powers do they have? Do the four family members all have their own strengths and weaknesses unique to them, making them unimpressive as singular beings but incredibly effective as a unit (a la a D&D party)?

What are they *like*? What kind of people are they? Perhaps Tier-Girl is the older sibling but is incredibly insecure and barely able to function in polite society, developing a dependence on her closest friend? Is Tier-Woman working herself down to the bone to the extent she needs to up a tier just to get through the day? Does Tier-Man have a gambling addiction that driven his own family into crippling debt? Does Tier-Boy have anger management issues?!

I feel like we should focus a little on the positive of it being very threadbare. What does everyone think the powers work like, or who the characters are? I liked your other post for that reason, HalfTangible.

For example, my thought is that the bottom tier would be where the supers start at, and then they level up from using their powers in good ways. Their enemies (the anti-tiers) would level up from using their powers in bad ways. What the powers of bottom tier and up would grant would be chosen by the super from a list of options.

Although maybe I just read Grrl power too recently.

Actually, this could be a fun competition in the Arts & Crafts forum. You start with a threadbare concept such as this one and all participants have to create their own characters and perhaps a short story using those characters.

    Oh, I'm used to it.

I'm trying to get him to stop being vague so that we can have actual discussions about his ideas instead of him saying vague things and then the topic never coming up again.

Same with how Peelee was trying to help him become a better reviewer for his movie threads.

As has been said, there's bare even a concept. Even Transman (I forget their exact powerset, but it involved chaning from a female form to a male one), who I created as an exercise in intentionally offensive superheroes and got rid of is a more fleshed out superhero.

Let's start with their powers. So they can increase their tier power from Bottom Tier to God-Tier, but what does that mean? In Fullmetal Alchemist Roy Mustang is God-Tier due to being able to create precisely-shaped explosions (and do other alchemy, but he does so maybe a handful of times in the story), and Hohenheim's spolieriffic abilities arguably make him even stronger, but they'd both be fairly low level in, for example, Bleach. Tiers are a measure of relative power, without anything to compare them to (and no actual powers to scale) we can't tell how strong they are. Imagine Roy Mustang in the DC universe, he might be on Batman's level (and is incredibly destructive or precise as he needs), but he's unable to keep up with characters such as The Flash or Superman despite being at worst the tenth strongest character in his home series (more likely around 5th or 6th strongest, at the very least he has good matchups with nearly half of those who might be above him).

I recommend you step back, and work on one superhero. Let's say Tier Girl. What exactly can she do? Working entitrely from the name and rough power description, I'm going to assume that she gets stronger steadily over time instead of in bursts, but needs a way to 'zero out' and return to Bottom Tier. I'm also going to go with just increasing physical power due to no specifications. With the lack of any additional Well, I see two options.

Option 1 is the Magical Enhancement Suit. The MES increases the user's strength and durability as long as it's worn in an exponential fashion, doubling roughly every 16.78 minutes. However as soon as the suit is removed all the enhancements go and the user is back to their normal strength and durability.

Option 2 is the Mutant Ability. So Tier Girl has the ability to trigger a rapid increase in her strength, durability, and speed with a thought, with her power growing steadily (say doubling every 3 minutes) until she decides to stop increasing her power, turns it out, or hits her limit (either a time limit or a certain amount of stored power for 'stronger=less time strong' plots).

We can then build on there. We can give her a civillian name (e.g. Dr Nina Petrikov), a civillian occupation (stem cell cultivator), and other details (three cats: Geoffery, Alice, and Dominator; enjoys playing the electric panpipes, tends to oversleep a lot, can't remember addresses...). See how much more of a character we have now, instead of 'Tier Girl, who can increase her tier) we now have Dr Nina Petrikov, the amazing Tier Girl.

Because, and I hate to generalise here, I expect autistic people to be detail oriented. While I can sometimes be overly vague in my own posts this is at least partially because I'm intentionally avoiding putting in all the information that I want.

The Tier/Anti-Tier Family Powers: They used a device called a Tier Belt which increased their strength and durability. It has a range of Bottom Tier, Low Tier, Middle Tier, High Tier, Top Tier and God Tier.
