    Three rounds in one day!


    Shadow again takes aim at stack 3. But due to the building and melee. Only a single archer connects. Croaking a darf.

    The three crossbowmen drop thier xbow snd step to meet spike. While an uncroaked crossbowman does the same. The three stacks tear into one another. The minertaur dusts the uncroaked crossbowman. Shot after shot sinks into the minertaur and the crossbow man axe ends up resting in its skull before dusting. A single crossbow man axe hits crud, but cant get through his gut. Spike heavies mop up the three darfs.

    Stack 3 breaks off from the ferals heading right for harley. A single hobby connects on its AOO damaging the piker. The two unassigned woofs move to block thier ruler and master. Krippen rams is stump through the chest of one darf croaking it. One of the woof scraps another one. The darf dust two woofs stack three barely being stopped. Breach throw his last can catching dealing damage to both sides. Dee takes a minor burn. The hobbies come up behind croaking the piker.

    ”Darf this is your one chance to save your tribe. Surrender now or croak. Breach has led your tribe mates to their croaking but this does not need to be the end of your tribe” Harley declares as the entirety of her forces prepare to attack.

    The darf nodds drops his weapon and drops to his knees. Spike promply touches him and shackles appear. The hex is still contested. However it feels less intense. Mostly likely there is some incapacited units among the enemy. Harley feels the start of turn looming, but she thinks it will be delayed until the hex is secure. ( atleast for a bit, the enemy could expire and the turn start at any moment!)

    Harley does know that she lost the farm.so no rations from that source.

    Harley turns to Dee and Krippen and bows deeply. ”Victory. We have won but at great cost. Croakamancer Dee, Warlord Krippen we could not have survived without your help. You have mine and that of Arkum’s deepest thanks.” She declares before standing straight once again. ”You have both fought in Arkum’s greatest battles I could not imagine Arkum’s future without either of you...” Harley declares seriously. ”There is always a home for both of you in Arkum and I offer it to both of you now. Dee my sister in naughtymancy. I am in need of a chief caster. Krippen my brave hero perhaps Captain of the Knights of Arkum would suit you?” she offers.

    Harley then orders her surviving units to check all the bodies. They first check the forces of Arkum any that are only incapacitated she has carefully carried into the garrison while the bodies of those that are croaked are claimed and taken to the morgue. The troops then claim ALL the equipment both magical and mundane (including the darfs armour, weapons and climbing gear and her own fallen units gear). The bodies of the enemy are then claimed and taken to the morgue while any that are incapacitated are taken prisoner and taken to the dungeons along with the one darf that surrendered.

    Harley then orders her surviving units to check all the bodies. They first check the forces of Arkum any that are only incapacitated she has carefully carried into the garrison while the bodies of those that are croaked are claimed and taken to the morgue. The troops then claim ALL the equipment both magical and mundane (including the darfs armour, weapons and climbing gear and her own fallen units gear). The bodies of the enemy are then claimed and taken to the morgue while any that are incapacitated are taken prisoner and taken to the dungeons along with the one darf that surrendered.

    Looking tired she turns to Harley handing back the hammer and ring of slow fall.

    Thank you for the offee Harley I will think on it. If you dont mind I will stick around until the start of the turn see what is avaliable for loot.

    You collect up all the bodies and items. As you capture the last darf Harley feels an her juice refresh. ( It will take me a bit to get the start of turn report ready so please be patient).

    Things of note to give you a few thing to think about while you wait:

    Harley, Spike, Shadow, Krippen, and Bill will level out of the commanders.

    Twin horn, piker A, and both of Krippens archers will level, may be a few more may level as well.

    Jab ( your stabber) and the fallen shady elf will survive.

    The uncroaked from the mass uncroak and the darf chief turn to dust with the start of turn.

    Pris that survive start of turn: 3 axemen darfs, 1 darf crossbowmen, 1 piker, 1 archer. ( thier upkeeps are cover already)

    The antz, hobbies, woof, and goats can be claimed as rations if need be. You will not get farm rations this turn.

    well I didnt become a adept croakamancer. The spwider and pokedamons are the only ones I see that cant be uncroaked.( remeber you converted thier shells to shmuckers last time) I did however gain a novice in shockamancy! I even learned three spells! Fire blast, grand hobokin, and necroblast!

    Wiz way I look at it Harley and Dee earned thier class up casting spells. Hence learning spells with the class up. Erfman earned his from a happy accident.

    That would improve the thier outlook for sure. Also I gsinrd a new form to use with my ki. Its a charging ki blast of some kind. If we have another turn where we dont expect combat I would like a chance to practice with it and my other ki ability.

    I think the dire woof came from how many woofs I uncroaked. Spending some time focusing on uncroaking and uncroaking other kinds of units should help. My new spell dis teach me something. A full strength uncroak gets to its feet faster.

    Harley then fetches Crud and brings him to the bodies. ”You you think any of these could be harvested for useful crafting materials?” she asks.

    Looking over the bodies he picks up a worker ant before throwing it down. Picking up a solder ant. At this he smiles.

    +1 defense. While magical armor will give +1 against breathweapons, magic, fall damage, and similar effects.



    On Rands just like erfman and erfsea the unit has to be in the MK to use it so only useful to casters.

    five turns or bodies in less good shape can take more juice I hear. Do you really plan on me uncroaking all these bodies? Remeber I wont have juice this turn.

    cant say for sure skill matters, but even a master can get lucky or fail. I think im more likely to give a woof or dire woof thier specials than a minertaur. Will say cant fail to give a heavy the heavy special. That more about size than anything else. At least in my experiance.

    Krippen walks over to spike. Seems like they are going over the battle. You see Krippen draw in the dirt point at several things. After a bit Bill walks over to join them.

    ”Bill congratulations on making warlord!” Harley then declares as she strides up to the sides newest warlord with a wide grin on her face. ”What does your new special do?” she then asks.


    Harley then orders one of her Pikers to retrieve one of the darf shields and try it on while she checks to see if it affects his stats in any way.

    Brave scout, hold tight we will send someone to rescue you. Describe exactly the route you took when entering the city. Did you notice any other traps before falling in to the pit?

    Stats are correct. But damage isnt( should be a d6). Could be spikes defense is highee because of his piker background.

    I know two other croakamancer in the MK. One runs a fighting ring where uncroaked fight each other that he puts on in carnyville. He is always looking for bodies. Might take a few in trade for juice. The other is a master or so he says. I have taken a few lessons from him, but he keeps hitting on me so..

    well lets say one Rand im feeling generous, and it will help out Dee. Another option Harley is I could keep the staff. Wave the six rands you owe me and offer 200 juice as well. So identify the items you have here and another 100 juice for other projects.

    After that she welcomes Anna "Reliable Anna," she says clasping her hand and arm in greeting "just last turn we learned about Rands. They seem great! No purse limitations! Shall we update our verbal contract to include them as well? What do the 300s we agreed are worth to you in Rands? (How many Rands for a full's day of work?)"

    Anna nodds.Three Rands should cover my needs You notice Dee and Herring standing back a bit talking

    ”Bill congratulations on making warlord!” Harley then declares as she strides up to the sides newest warlord with a wide grin on her face. ”What does your new special do?” she then asks.

    Bill seems a bit suprised but smiles at you.

    If im defending a farm, mine, lumber yard or other resource sight. Me and my stack gain a +2 morale bonus to defense.

    Harley then orders one of her Pikers to retrieve one of the darf shields and try it on while she checks to see if it affects his stats in any way.

    Edit: Harley quickly writes back to the scout.

    Brave scout, hold tight we will send someone to rescue you. Describe exactly the route you took when entering the city. Did you notice any other traps before falling in to the pit?

    Spike walks up to you looking at the shield. ( the shield along doesnt seem to effect harley other than ita heavy.. Basic armor, shields, weapon are a built in stat. A naked unit will lose 1 defense, one without a weapon cant attack) Spike seems timid at first but gain strength as he talks.

    "Crud, go on and harvest 1 Solder Antz for parts, and save the meat if you can"

    Crud nods and head off. +2 ant rations, +1 ant chittin, -1 ant solder.

    I see the drop in damage might make that hard. I wonder if crud could make shields and smaller weapons. Yes Krippen did give me some pointers. He holds out his handMay I see those, I assume those are from scout Howie (H) since he has the only hat in our network not in the city,

City seems empty, so we should consider going there. We can reach it in 1 turn with 2 hobbies, 1 wagon, and the Dire Woof, but we already have so much to do this turn around us.." she says conflicted

    I see so howie was able to search the whole city? Another city seems worth the risk. If we can take those hobbies. Myself or Bill could ride out, maybe take the uncroaked woofs with. Go as a mounted stack...

    The hat buzzes again interupting Spike.
