    If you were clear cutting it would bother me, but each tribe is different. As for the woodsies, it would probably bother them more. However, do you care? If you don't follow the letter of the agreement. If you do message them and ask to harvest the forest.

    I hope the titans have been treating you well.

    I just wanted to warn you that our scouts have detected two sides close to our battle space and they may venture as far as your lands. They are known as the Empire of the Motes and Winstrum. They are both powerful sides and I would advise you to think carefully before deciding to attack any of their units that enter your land unless you are directly attacked. We are in contact with both sides and we could pass on a message for you if you wish however we have not yet revealed your presence as we were not sure if you would want us to do so.

    We appreciate the scouting reports you have continued to send us aswell as the news of captured pokadaemons however I wonder if we could help each other more? Perhaps you would be interested in partaking in trade between our people? If you have anything that you would be interested in trading, we have a small supply of herbs that you may be interested in, crafting materials such as leather, gems and on occasion a surplus of rations that we could spare.

    On the subject of crafting materials we have been harvesting a few trees here and there in our Light Forest hexes for wood. Would you have any objection if we were do so in the light forest hexes that border your lands? We would not cut enough to have any permanent effect however due to our road these would be the most efficient trees for us to harvest.

    We look forwards to hearing from you.

    Greeting queen of Arkum

    We appreciate the warning about the two sides. It depends on what are they doing in the area. Are they planning on moving through our forest? As for trade it would depend on what you want or have to offer. Main thing we want are magic items and gems. We produce alot of rations and would prefer you not harvest the light forest. We have found hexes produce more when unharvested and it can effect surrounding hexes.

    She then reads it back and nods before sending, thinking that albeit gems are super precious for Arkum, as they are needed for city upgrades, perhaps she would be willing to trade 100s away for 5 rations (4 Rands)
    As for the +1 weapons, given it would take 4 Rands and masterwork materials, perhaps 25 rations (20 Rands) would be acceptable

    We are not privy to the two sides plan’s however we do know that their cities lie to the west of us and that they have an enemy to our east. They will likely seek to attack this enemy and in doing so it is not beyond the realms of possibilities that they may attempt to cross your forest.

    We do have access to a number of skilled crafters so we could have magic items made for you however they are in high demand so the price would need to be right. Up to how many rations would you be willing to pay for a +1 weapon for example? (It would make things easier if you would be able to supply the materials, such as high quality wood, certain feral bones, hides or horns). Is it magical bows you are interested in or other weapons and armour aswell?

    For gems how many rations would you be willing to trade for a 100 schmucker gem?

    In the interest of friendship and cooperation we will try our best not to harvest wood in the hexes that border your land whenever possible.

    Well let us know which direction they are heading and we can adjust from there.

    As for magic items, +1 bow we could offer 10 rations per bow we will provide the materials and let's say three rations for 100 shmuckers. Also what are you willing to pay for Master craft materials?

    We would have to to agree the price of each individual trade at the time however in general if you were to provide enough materials for two items and 12 rations we may be able to come to an arrangement.

    Likewise if you could stretch to 4 rations per 100s gem (giving an individual ration a trade value of 25s) we should be able to come to an agreement.

    +1. This seems like a good thing to check too. I'd rather not cause date-a-mancy issues with our heir because of discomfort over feeding animals. I don't expect this'll be a problem, but well worth checking.

    it's fine, but can we do this with normal rations rather than wild in the future

    Not my favorite thing to be honest, also I don't feel that connection starting to form like I did with the lynx.

    Testing if it's worth it to make medium sized tunnel vs small

    Decayed Uncroaked Darf Axeman C19G, that does not have any specials, ordered into tunnel, and to step over the hex boundary

    How much move was used? (crawling in small tunnel took 2 Move)
