R8T22: Spellcasting is heard to the south, and Meijen gets hit for 5 force from an arcane bolt.

R8T19: The leader steps back, takes out a wand, and taps yellow tiefling to fully heal his wounds.

R8T18: And now a new face appears in the dim light. Aldo actually heard heavy footsteps in armor clomping his way. Strange, as Meijen would most likely have been the target, and yet this new person seems fixated on Aldo with little extra thought to Meijen. Not tall (5'4", though that is significantly taller than Aldo, of course), but 180 lbs of bulk, this yellow-eyed, bald tiefling has wicked-looking claws and he swings with one to crit Aldo in his left ear for 10 + 1 INT + (1 bleed).

R8T17: Meijen feels the call of his ancestors wane. He levels his sword at the lead tiefling, unwilling to let him go, calling down Shelyn's wrath against one hiding in darkness and ugliness. Meijen steps forward and swings his smite-imbued blade at the leader to hit him in the upper left leg for 11.

R8T16: A bolt misses Meijen.

Aldo winced in pain. This tunnel was far too cramped for his preference and there was no egress in case things went south. Sometimes the only way out is through, so he used the last of his manifesting capabilities to try and not kill the tiefling and juked him, moving a step south to slash at his knees.

Sometimes the only way out is through, so he used the last of his manifesting capabilities to try and not kill the tiefling and juked him, moving a step south to slash at his knees. But the tiefling uses his mace to deflect the attack upwards to his waiting and protecting breastplate.

R8T9: Yellow tiefling takes out his shortsword, holding his unloaded crossbow in his offhand, and attacks Mejen. But the elf performs very much a similar deflection as the tiefling leader just did to take the sword offline.

R9T22: Aldo sees somebody moving around the backfield to the area at the north wall of the chamber you're partially in.

R9T19: The main spellcaster steps back and to the side, making it really difficult to draw a bead; yet he begins casting and Flycatcher throws his dagger, only to have it bounce off the tiefling's armor. The spell finished, he lets loose a bolt of fire at Aldo, despite Meijen being an easier target, and still hitting him in the very low abdomen for 4 fire to Aldo.

R9T18: The burly tiefling - despite a taller opponent with much larger sword next to him - focuses on Aldo. "I loves carvin' me up some slips," he mutters as one of his claws cuts Aldo across the surface of his belly for 5.

R9T17: "Your choice of a weaker opponent will end you, monster," says Meijen. But instead of helping Aldo he concentrates on a spell. To Meijen's anguish, it fizzles out. "Forget the choke point, come down here while there is room to do so!"

The tight walls of this place gave him precious little room to maneuver, and with the amount of blood he was loosing, he needed to get out of there fast. He scooted back from the action; far enough away to give himself time to breathe, but not so far as to risk being out of position if needed.

R10T19.5: Seeing that Meijen wasn't falling back, the Flycatcher steps up to aid him. The Flycatcher tries slapping the burly tiefling's blade out of his hands as he calls out what he sees to the less night adapted of the group. But he stops short when he sees that unlike the other tieflings ... this guy is using claws to attack!

R1019: The leader adjusts his LOS and then shoots Meijen with a crit in his left shin for 15 fire.

R1018: "My name's Dravano, Dravano the Digger," the burly tiefling says, baring his claws to Flycatcher, "and guttin' hafllin's one-a' my favorite things." He slashes twice at Flycatcher, putting more of his power into the blows than might be wise against the nimble vigilante as he ducks around the dangerous nails. Dravano then steps into flank against Meijen.

R10T17: Badly wounded and burned now, Meijen realizes his error, compounded by his failure to enact his spell earlier. He mutters a quick spell to Shelyn, touching his leg for 3 healing. He attacks Dravano, with his sword clipping off the tiefling's breastplate, before stepping almost out of sight into an alcove to the east.

R10T16: A tiefling (purple) with crossbow in one hand and rapier in another gets into view and stabs into the alcove.
