"Well.

That went both better and worse than I had planned."

Leta had lost nearly half of her hit points in the first room, but she had slaughtered the rabbits without having to lift a finger.

She'd leave, heal, and return to grind some more, but that notice of reduced rewards annoyed her. She really didn't like that.

"Guess I'm pushing on. Let's see what's next."

Leta takes 20 to Search the room, loots the rabbits, and then approaches the tunnel to the next room, searching it for traps.

You find nothing in the room but dirt and dead rabbits.

You find no traps.

The tunnel to the next room curves to the right and requires that you squeeze through.

As soon as you squeeze past the corner, the room opens up, leaving you plainly visible.

Within the next room are (1d3+1)[4] Woodland Hares and 1 Basher.

"Bleep it," she mutters and throws her rock at the Basher.

You just barely manage to bash the basher while it's flat-footed, and the massive amount of damage leaves it temporarily dazed.

The other four rabbits suffer no such malady, but they are too close to charge at you.

"I really should have figured out a way to get some damage reduction..."

Knowing the basher is the biggest threat, Leta will push through the hares, allowing them to make AoOs if they choose, and attempt to strike the Basher before it can recover.

You miss with your attack on the hare.

The surviving hares all make attacks as you move.

You strike the Basher, and although you no longer get a sneak attack, you still manage to knock it down to 0 hit points.

Any surviving hares then move to attack you, provoking an AoO.

Leta loots all of the rabbits and then Searches the room [23].

Unwilling to risk another room, Leta makes her way back out of the dungeon, heading back to her room to heal up.

As you are about to leave the dungeon, you hear the sound of someone walking around near the surface.

They seem to be trying to find a way into the dungeon but are too big to easily squeeze through.

[Jeriah]

Leta tries hard not to mutter curses. This was her dungeon.

She waits to see what they do and takes the time to Hide. Take 20 if possible. Otherwise Hide - (1d20+7)[17]

[Rizban]

A long, scaled leg juts through the entrance, wiggles around a bit, and then is withdrawn. It seems that the individual can't figure out how to get through such a small hole.

[Jeriah]

Leta waits, irritated that this person is interrupting her progress and wasting her time. She could be grinding XP right now!

[Rizban]

"Logically speaking, there must be another way in..."

You hear the sound of the individual walking away.

[Jeriah]

As soon as he leaves, Leta makes a break for it, ducking low in the grass to stay as hidden as possible.

You manage to escape unnoticed and arrive back in your safe room.

By my understanding, it will take 40 minutes for Leta to regain the 8 hit points she lost.

During that time, Leta will take out one of the thigh bones she saved from the Basher and start cutting into it with her rock. The goal is to carve away one side of it to make it into a scraping tool to process the hides further.

I'm assuming Craft (Leatherworking), since this is a tool for that skill.

With 40 minutes of work, you make excellent progress on crafting the tool. It could use a bit more work to be truly completed, but your allotted time is up, leaving you fully healed.

Satisfied with what she was able to accomplish, Leta double checks her buff timers and stealths her way back to the dungeon.

You sneak back towards the dungeon and find two lizardfolk busy excavating the entrance. They fail to hear only only because of the noise they're making. It looks like they've made it about halfway to the first room digging.

Grumbling silently to herself, Leta debates whether to try to kill them.

Are they wearing starter robes? Do they look like players?

[Rizban]

They definitely have blue starter robes, though one seems to be wearing it tied around its waist as a loincloth rather than as a robe.

[Jeriah]

Leta decides not to PK potential allies. She watches for a minute then heads off to find other rabbits to grind.

You travel far enough that you don't expect the lizardfolk to overhear your combat and soon find (1d5)[2] rabbits.
