Figuring there was still a way to go, Ardin decided that helping his allies hit would work better then himself hitting.
"Dyonysus, guide their hands as if they were drinking!" he called, light shining on the other three.

Moving to cover Lucia if an armor passed the first line, and casting Bless.

Lucia, Aaron and Halk add 1d4 to every attack and saving throw they roll for a minute.

Lucia's arrow goes wide as the rearmost armor, the one already damaged by javelin and fire, jerks to the side.

To give a better picture of our current combatants:

Sword armor is fighting Halk and currently the most injured.

Both Mace and Axe (Also injured from the initial attack) armor are focusing on Aaron.

The Iron Smith Half-Orc Barbarian AC: 17 HP: 35/35 PP: 11 PIv: 9 PIs: 9 Conditions: Raging (9 rounds) Halk growls as the other two suits of armor ignore his challenge, but he brings his hammer down at the one bearing the sword, trying to take it out of the fight.

[Wondersmith]

With a great clattering and banging the first set of armor falls to the floor, exasperating into pieces as the magic leaves it. It lays lifeless, dented and bent. That leaves only two left, its companions still up and able, though one burnt and punctured from the initial volley.

One down! Aaron is up next!

Aaron was able to throw up his shield in time to block the second blow, but the first manage to wing him in the shoulder. He fought past the pain, and went into a defensive stance behind his shield, striking out against the wounded armor wielding the axe.

Gonna do a regular attack on the Axe, and depending on how that goes I might riposte if either suit of armor manages to miss me.

[Wondersmith]

Another heavy dent is placed in the armor with the axe, though it doesn't slow yet. It strikes back at Aaron, while the one with the mace wielding armor redirects itself to engage with Halk now that its fellow construct has fallen. They both swing in wide arcs, attempting to take down their targets with sweeping blows.

"And Apollo returns the favor." Lucia sprang back to her feet, and began cheering at the first suit fell. "That's the way to do it! Crush them all!" With new vigor, Lucia unleashed another bolt at the axe-wielding armor.

This time Lucia's bolt strikes true, skewering through the helmet of the armor and taking it right off its body. It rolls and clatters down the hall, the rest of the metal falling in an empty heap upon the stone.

"Perfect strike! We're nearly there!" Ardin said, a flame appearing in his hand which he chucked towards the mace armor.

Just as Lucia threw forth her bolt to destroy one of the suits of armor, Aaron used the moment of confusion to thrust his blade into an opening in the other one's defense.

With the next two strikes the final armor topples, joining the rest in a heap on the ground. It leaves the hallway clear, as well as the room beyond. There's nothing of note besides the divots where the armor once rested, plus a few dim torches.

A single passageway leads further into the dungeon, a shadowy and sharp corner that disappears into darkness. All is quiet once again, the distant chants and cheers swallowed up by the stone temple.

"Let's not relax just yet. I'd put a trap in the monster room if I was a DJ!" Ardin said, offering his goodberries to Aaron "For the pain. I think we should see where the passage leads"

I'm assuming Aaron will take as many as he needs, so 2 goodberries remaining.

Upon seeing the last suit of armor fall, Lucia performed a celebratory back handspring into a flare kick. Nothing too fancy, since there would be many more victories to come, but their first success deserved it!

"All right! WE did it! The first blood goes to-"

Abrubtly, Lucia's cheers stopped, nd she landed on the ground with a thump. She looked up at her teammates with abject horror. "By Apollo's Electric Lyre, everyone! We've forgotten the most important thing!"

Aaron had been checking his sword and shield to see if it was dented, knowing that he was unlikely to spot anything the rest of the group could. His focus was broken by the bouncy halfling, and he sighed before asking Lucia, "What, pray tell, would that be, miss?"

[Estralita]

"A name! How are the bards going to share our stories without a name? How can the crowds cheer us on if they have no name to call out?!"

Lucia flips to her feet. "This error must be rectified!"

[Valmark]

"Well then- better late then never!" Ardin was on board with that, since they were in a cleaned up room "Do we have any ideas? Brainstorming! As in doing that, not as a name"

[Estralita]

Lucia made a valiant attempt to stay quiet and give the others a chance to make suggestions. She lasted a few seconds.

"Disciples of Greatness! The Iron Smith and Friends! THE PARTY PARTY!"

"...I actually like the party one" Ardin mused "How about 'The Drinking PARTY'?" He ventured.

[Celticbear]

"Why don't we concentrate on keeping things moving. If we die halfway through the dungeon, our name won't really need much thought," Aaron pragmatically scoffed, looking down the hallway with mild worry.

[Estralita]

Lucia bit her lip thinking. " I suppose so. I am certain we will have plenty of time to decide later. In the meantime, The Unnamed Brainstorming Party moves forwards!"

They'll need something to announce when they raise our arms in victory. Unfortunately I don't have much to contribute. I smith metal and enemies, not words. Halk resumes his position in the front of the group and makes to press onward down the hallway.

There’s no sign of magic down the corridor as the group begins to continue once again, and after it curves they find themselves in a small room. A single pedestal rests in the center, and on it is a fabulous prize. A golden trophy shaped like a dragon, somewhere around a foot tall. Two gemstones make up its eyes, and at its feet are resting in a pile of gold coins.

Both Ardin and Halk can see exactly what the trap is. They can see that the floor of the room is somewhat segmented, as if it could easily collapse. The pedestal too looks like it’s some sort of pressure plate, triggering when the hoard atop it is disturbed. There’s no doubt a hefty weight in gold to be had, but getting away with it won’t be quite as easy.

To the north is another hallway, leading further into the dungeon. That one doesn’t appear trapped, as far as anyone can tell.

Ardin and Halk spot a collapsing floor trap!

"Trap! Double trap!" Ardin pointed at the floor, then at the cup "We must take it! For the glory and the crowd!" he said, not making a move to approach it.
"And I don't have the right spell to do this! Ideas? The floor will collapse if we step on it... At least if I do. And some other trap is on the pedestal"

After a second Ardin added "If we make a slipknot on a rope I could send my familiar to put it around the treasure, then we pull- the noose tightens around it so that my owl doesn't have to carry it, since it looks way to heavy, and if we pull it from forty feet away the trap hopefully shouldn't reach us. Thoughts?"

[Estralita]

"Oooh, but what if it's one of those old school boulder traps that rolls down the corridor, then CRASH!!" Lucia starts stretching and thinking at the same time. " How big do you reckon the trap gap is? I might be able to jump it, then disable the other trap."

But better to live poor than die rich. Go for it. Halk looks over the floor, keeping track of the trap's triggers in case they need to run for it.

Ardin did pull out the rope, though not for the same reason.
"If Lucia can disable the trap, I say she goes for it. My familiar would trigger it and we don't know what is it- but tie this around you so if you fall we can pull immediately and avoid you hitting the ground... Or whatever is on the ground"

[Celticbear]

Aaron knew two things. First was that his army salary was ok and he had no intentions of getting rich. He figured his own fame should've washed away by now. The second was that his compatriots were having so much fun trying to outthink the traps that he'd feel horrible if he just suggested moving on. He didn't have anything to contribute either way, and just awaited silently until they landed on an idea.

Ardin put a hand on Lucia's shoulder.
"May a divine sense help guide your path!"

"Thank you! I jump, you catch in case things go wrong. Which they won't. All together now! "Five, six seven, eight!" Lucia tied the rope around her, then flipped over to the pedestal. With one smooth motion, Lucia pulled the Thieves' Tools out of her hair, then got to work.
