Finally Gashur moves the hulking hurk surging forward across the chamber towards the vrock on the far side, ducking under the clumsy swings of the ogres before he lunges with fauchard over Mong and Jessica's shoulder but both strikes go wide as the creature shelters behind its reinforced wings.

To clarify that we have the maths right:
1. The first 24 against flatfooted(?) vrock over soft cover is a miss.
2. The second 24 is fleet charge, so Gashur could move around the vrock if any other side allows for attack, but he was not sure that vrock is flatfooted, so chose to stay in place to avoid AoOs (the orc has some acrobatics, so not sure).
3. And the third attack of 28 seems to be unaccounted for.

I know they hit hard. I'm almost out of HP. I'm actually thinking of stepping back and healing before continuing the fight, as I can only take one more hit of this magnitude.

Question: this screech, is that a fear effect? Because if it is, Jessica is immune and everybody around her has a +4 on the save.

Can I just clarify that although both ogres rolled nat12s on their reflex saves, one failed and died and one passed its save and took only half damage?

And also that the Vrock failed its save (with a nat4) and caught on fire, taking an additional 16 damage this turn?

Vrock ogre ogre on the saves as the vrock goes first as he’s the most important

@Starbuck - it’s a noise based effect so I guess the bard bonus would apply
@ Farothel - it’s not a fear effect. It’s just physical impact from a loud noise

Yes you are in area 3 and you can see through the portcullis and see the rubble

At 3rd level, a barbarian gains a +1 bonus on Reflex saves to avoid traps... These bonuses increase by 1 every 3 levels thereafter...

So, some bonus-hunting lands Gashur safely on some side of the pit. Since 10x10 is not the whole width, it's probably unimportant which side that is. Also, should I assume one minute has passed since our first fight with the barbarians?
