Surprise Round ...

A hand and face appear from the wall and the crack where Winter was focused, and thrusts its hand into Winter's heart. She resists going into cardiac arrest, but she still suffers 25 force + hampered (1/2 speed, and can't take 5' step).

Flying slightly away from the fight, Kris throws projectiles of force at the creature.

Flying 1N (still unsure if I can 5 foot step or not while flying, but that's the idea) then cast Magic Missile, with both projectiles at the wallface.

Winter screams in surprise as her chest seizes at the spectral force, she looks about trying to spy the attacker before she stumbles back, holding the dagger in a warding defense, a cry of "there is something wall, beware" to her allies.

OOC: Withdraw 10ft (NE,N) to be by the door

R1T22: Winter screams in surprise as her chest seizes at the spectral force, even though she already begins to heal (FH8). She looks about, trying to spy the attacker before she stumbles back, holding the dagger in a warding defense, a jabbering cry to her allies of, "There is something ... wall, beware!"

R1T21: The spectre steps out of the wall after Kris and seems to get into some type of stylized stance, though it reaches out at St. Dorn. Its hand plunges right into St. Dorn's chest. Though the older man successfully rallies to keep from being affected by the bulk of the attack, he still takes 22 aging + disoriented ... something a middle-aged human does not do well with.

R1T18: Cesadia calls out, "It's a force ghost! Incorporeal undead. Very resistant to positive energy attacks!"

She then heads out the door and around the corner while getting out her crossbow and hiding.

R1T14: St. Dorn, you have your warhammer (w/ light) in hand, and are a little disoriented. What do you do?

“All right then! Let’s see if this ghost is resistant to a war hammer wielded by a Saint! Torag, guide my hand!”
The older man gathers himself and unleashes an onslaught of heavy hammer blows at the undead creature.

R1T14: “All right then! Let’s see if this ghost is resistant to a war hammer wielded by a Saint! Torag, guide my hand!”

The older man gathers himself as a faint glow gathers about him, and he unleashes an onslaught of heavy hammer blows at the undead creature. The first strike goes through the ghost's thigh for 5 mod, greatly abated not only by the incorporeality itself, but also seemingly by the blue force field surrounding it, glowing like a soft blue candle. Still, all of that includes the fact that this thing is definitely evil. The second attack goes through the neck for another 5 mod.

R1T8: Lillian steps back out into the hallway, takes a waterskin out of her magic backpack, and then pours an extract into the waterskin.

R2T29: Kris, now facing the full horror of this spectral death, roll a SAN check. What do you do?

R2T22: Winter's healing kicks in, despite taking 1 SAN from the sight of the horror. She lets loose with a burst of positive energy that the ghost resist for 5 PE.

R2T21: The ghost moves around to the side, does a fake out on St. Dorn, and puts his hand into his head. The older man resists, but still takes 15 + bewildered.

R2T18: Ms. Wrentz steps out and takes a solid look, suffering 3 SAN. She shoots and misses, as the ghost seems to have been aware of her. She speed reloads.

R2T14: St. Dorn, roll a SAN check. What do you do?

R2T14: Truly haggard now in appearance (and taking 1 SAN), the aged saint tries to help his allies by pressing the attacking onslaught. The first strike goes through the spirit's chest for 5 mod. “I could use some healing!" he wheezes.

R2T8: Lillian casts a spell and steps down to touch St. Dorn to fully heal him! St. Dorn's coloration goes back to normal, and some of the wrinkles and liver spots disappear.

Grunting with anger, St. Dorn moves North and then West next to Cesadia. Summoning his holy power, he attempts to touch the ghost. Then he prepares to intercept any attacks against any adjacent allies that the ghost might attack.

R4T14: Grunting with anger, St. Dorn moves North and then West next to Cesadia. Summoning his holy power, he attempts to touch the ghost but misses wildly. Meanwhile, he dragged so much detritus and debris from the floor of the other room with him that when he stopped, the dust kicks upwards into his eyes, blinding him. Despite this, he he prepares to intercept any attacks against any adjacent allies that the ghost might attack, calling out, “To me for your protection!”

R4T8: Lillian moves up to St. Dorn, voicing softly so he doesn't strike her, and tries to help him clear his vision, but fails.

R5T29: Kris, what do you do? Rapier is in hand and mage armor is strong.
