The tree gets many prayers. In fact part of their mind had been split out and tasked with managing them. Normally there needed to be a critical mass of prayers for the tree to act, well delegate, on a task. There were local spirits, dryads, that acted as middle managers helping direct and resolve the prayers. There were churches too. The system worked. For most mundane things, like saving a sick relative, a person could reach out to the medics. For some urgent things, like a plague, coordinated prayer in a church. One would rarely pray to the tree asking for something concrete, more a thankful periodic prayer.

Of course that was in the areas completely dominated by the tree.

On Earth the system wasn't in place. The plant life of Earth was in the process of being subverted by the tree. And it was much more... attentive.

Like spies they listened. And that great amount of data was filtered by another subsection of the tree's mind. Among it there were some words that were key, that the tree looked for in all that data. "Eshaal" was one of them.

So when Jack prayed the tree, or a part of it, listened.





Vast looks at the group, suddenly interested in her subordinate. But decides to wait and see what they want her for before interjecting. After all Ethan had asked the question she would have asked, so no need for her to repeat his question.

"We were ordered to seek Eshaal and protect her as temporary bodyguards." AU Tanjiro replied to Vast.
"Is it alright if I go with you guys. I need to speak with Eshaal as well.
"Sure,you can Lucy! I'm sure the proffesor won't mind..." AU Zenitsu replied before remembering something.
"Oh no! I forgot about Superman!!!"
"What's wrong with Superman?" Lucy asked.
"Aniki...I mean king Larry will be sending him after me if he dosen't get contact from me in 24 hours!" AU Zenitsu shouts.
"Wait...King Lawrence is your brother?!" Lucy asked.
"Shhhh don't say that aloud!" AU Zenitsu ( Marcus) replied.
"Everyone in the Neo Demon Slayer Corps knows that!" Tengen replied.

Some time later, Jacob was seen tirelessly looking over a strategic map, laid on a table in the war room. The White Palace currently held Tony Stark, Jacob and others, including The Grand Marshal General all in the same room observing this, and talking strategy. Meanwhile. . .

An invisible stalker lurked, unknown among all the security personel. Moving slowly towards The War Room. Having overwhelming killing intent, no one knew it was coming.

Ethan speaks up as soon as he hears Eshaal apparently needs these guys as a bodyuards "Do you know where Eshaal is then? Should be easy to open a gateway for you and I'm happy to help her out, return the favour and all."
He's probably not supposed to have heard the superman bit, and does wonder for a moment why that man is going by superman at all. Sure some people have been entirely subsumed by their own incarnations, but being chief enforcer for the local evil conspiracy doesn't sound very superman.
"Oh and while I'm pretty new to this myself, if you want to keep things secret you should probably not talk about it where anyone can hear." He casually adds.

The fact he's being listened, that the tree or its segretaties have picked up on him, makes his feel happy.

"I have resqued a great many people from the base of WRATH, for they were being used as test subjects... with many of them having died in the process. But, now i face a great hurdle, as I have no way to bring them back to their homes, nor have ways to protect them from being snatched back by WRATH, so i pray for your assistance."

Wind ruffles the leaves of the trees around Jake's place. With a whisper a reddish leave lands there.

"So, you make a decision in haste and want me to deal with the consequences... Anyway I did point you in that direction. Okay, I'll give the people you took the tree's mercy. In exchange, give whichever plants you might have collected from worlds beyond this one."

"Actually,Lucy's yoing sis might be with Eshaal right now. The profesor thought that she would be safer with Eshaal then at HQ." AU Zenitsu replied.
"Because of WRATH?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah,because of them." AU Zenitsu replied.
"And what is this about King Larry being your brother?" Lucy asked.
"I have alot of explaining to do..." AU Zenitsu replied. He looked at Vast. "I suppose you do want to know as well?"

A limo stopped near the campus,escorted by WRATH vehicles. A young woman with long red hair and orange/red eyes dressed in a buisness outfit stepped out of the limo.
"So this is the place. I'll have no problem to make the old man cooporate with us." said the woman as she and a few WRATH soldiers went inside.
(You can guess who is the reincarnation of this WRATH admin.)

"I guess we'll be going then. See you guys back at the campus!" Tengen,Obanai,Mitsuri and Michikatsu stepped through the portal and ended back at the Shibuya university campus. Everything seemed calm at the moment.

"There is a tree in the park close to where you are. Check the one closes to the fountain. I assume the people you took are in a subspace and can be transported, right?"

"Well, because my RC awoke and I became stuck in the form of my past life, well, I was one of the curent successors of the british royal throne along with my brother,Lawrence. I was a year younger then him but we started to develop RC at the same time. Two japanese teachers heard about us and went to meet with us,telling use that they were also reincarnates. Well profesor Karasu and profesor Kimari.
They formed an organisation in the guise of w club for RC reincarnates,those who were either Demon Slayers or Demons. Profesor Kimari,a top srcond in command was the reincarnation of the former Thunder Hashira Jigoro Kuwajima and believed that somenof Lawrence and I's reincarnations were of variants of his students Kaigaku and Zenitsu and offered to train us in japan." AU Zenitsu( Marcus) explained.
Larry refused as he wanted to focus on the throne and his own motives to make the world a better place for us reincarnates. I accepted and followed the profesor to Tokyo to study snd train. I wasn't intersted in the throne anyway."

The hashira noticed a small group of WRATH soldiers making their way inside campus,as they were led by the red haired woman.
"What do you know, the profesor's loyal guard dogs are here." she said with a smile.
"I just came to find your master."
"And you are?" Iguro asked. "I am only known,as Makima,leader of Public safety and admin of the asian fraction of WRATH. Now be good dogs and tell me where your master is."
"Wait,who do you think you are,lady?!" Tengen shouts."
"You'll only answer to me by" Yes" or "Woof". Makima replied playfully.
"We are not your dogs." Iguro replied.
"We do not answer to you or WRATH." Michikatsu replied.

Jack replies, gently picking up the leaf, as he would drink a potion of invisibility, and then sneakely jump off the roof. He heads to the location mentioned, stopping right in front of the tree.

"Alright, I'm at the spot."
