Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Sorry Tattie, but you can't adopt the wyvern. This thing eats a lot and takes up a huge amount of space. You have to take it on a flight every day even if it's raining, and pick up its poop behind it. If you go on vacation, you have to find a wyvern-sitter, and I don't think there are many of them around here.
Also we'd need permission from Mr. Sforza, and I can already tell you he'll say no, because insurance and property value and blah blah blah. (Yes, he has ogres, but since he's the landlord, he can keep whatever pets he wants on his own property.)Last edited by -Sentinel-; 2023-04-20 at 01:54 PM.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Ah, then I completely misread your question - sorry! I think I mixed the two questions together in my mind somehow. The proper answers are:
- Yes, it would have been fine to re-roll that attack with a FP - though with Ludo providing outnumbering you don't need to.
- If you've already allocated fury d10s to specific attacks, better to roll new ones for the exploding attacks I think.
Resolving attacks in order of posting, Bardhyl's big Fury is the first (& only) crit:

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Is any kind of test necessary to pry off a large patch of scaled hide, given that this thing has armor 4?

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Have a good one.
I think I have a bit of rules debt to catch up on before I take the IC any further, because Bardhyl should get the benefit of a Heal test from Wadim in the immediate aftermath of the wyvern fight:
(1d100)[16], (1d10)[1]
1 wound healed is better than none! So together with the healing draught Bardhyl is looking fairly healthy wounds-wise, but still poisoned.Last edited by LCP; 2023-04-25 at 11:24 AM.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
With the extra poison damage, I believe that puts Bardhyl at 6 Wounds (5 at the end of the fight, +4 from the draught, +1 from the Heal test, -4 from the poison).
Clearly, Wadim is losing his touch...

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Sounds right to me.
I assume the party for climbing the Crone is Bardhyl, Elsa, Tattie, Ludo, Jarla, and Wadim. If you want to add anyone to that roster let me know.

No, the gang can stay in the cave and watch over the horses while Bardhyl has his mushroom trip.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
I'd like to have Ludo try to take a few Wyvern teeth before setting off. I'll roll Strength as Elsa did: (1d100)[86] vs 26, re-roll (1d100)[62]
I'll let you interpret that as you wish - can always try again on the way down.Last edited by LeSwordfish; 2023-04-26 at 04:26 PM.

Ludo's WP: (1d100)[47] vs 37,
re-roll (1d100)[75] vs 37- would like to pass by spending a fate point for a +10 instead.Last edited by LeSwordfish; 2023-04-29 at 11:10 AM.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Hey guys, posting this from a loud Amsterdam bar. Fabulous city, if very crowded. Not much time to post IC (especially on my tablet), so keep me on autopilot, but I can roll WP for Elsa.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Realising I forgot to respond to Ludo's wyvern dentistry IC - he can get a tooth or two, he had plenty of time. It's not like the skin where if you get it wrong you'll damage it.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Remind me, is Nav a basic or advanced skill? Also, for the purposes of Link of Psyche (+10 Int and WP if both Elsa and Khalida are conscious and cooperative), does Elsa count as conscious? And is that +10 Int applied before or after the halving of the stat?
If applicable, here's a test vs. 13 to 23: (d100)[90]
Fortune: (d100)[98]
Well okay, then! Guess my questions are irrelevant. :PLast edited by -Sentinel-; 2023-05-01 at 09:22 AM.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Just need a quick roll, opposed WP for Wadim + Jarla's passenger: (1d100)[3] vs. (1d100)[10] - looks like they're both bringing their A-game!

Since Elsa's on autopilot, I'm just looking to see if Ludo or Bardhyl have anything to say back to shadow-Tshula; if they don't just let me know and I'll move the scene on.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Can I get a Strength test from Bardhyl for his efforts to restrain Jarla? Opposed against Jarla's S: (1d100)[91]
I'll also wait to see if Ludo's intervening in any way before continuing.

Not sure what the deal is mechanically, this is probably an Assist? Which might be enough for how high Jarla rolled.

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
I have returned.
Amsterdam was incredible. Highly recommend.
Brussels was pretty nice. Good place to spend 2-3 days.
Bruges was overpriced, overcrowded, and (dare I say) overrated. I must reluctantly agree with Colin Farrell's character: there really isn't much to do in Bruges.
Very jetlagged now, though. My bed beckons.SpoilerRunning:

Re: [WFRP] The Bloody Crown OOC XV
Jarla's acing all these tests to resist Chaos. Are we sure she doesn't have a bit of halfling blood in her?
No more rolls - that's 1 successful exorcism (succexorcism?). Over to you guys - I imagine you may want to have a bit of a debrief before moving on from this scene!
Once you're ready, I'll be looking to move on to the following morning, and I'll need a bit of direction about who's going on to Morr's Seat, and who (if anybody) is returning back east.
