Swift Action: Use Hypnotic Stare on the first enemy that comes within 30' of Sisir. The target takes -3 to Will Saves and Attack Rolls. If the target is immune to mind-affecting effects, then it +2 to any related saves and have a 50% chance to ignore the Stare's effect every round.

Tricks: If anyone with Mask Misery implanted become affected by any moderate condition as defined by Touch Treatment, activate Mask Misery.


Other: Should Sisir fail to trigger Painful Stare twice on his own turn, he will attempt to trigger it any time the target of his Hypnotic Stare gets hit before his next turn, up to a maximum of two time in the round. Every such activation will deal 4 precision damage, and a DC 20 Will Save vs becoming Confused for 1 round, for which it rolls twice to determine its actions while confused, and I choose which roll to use.

R1T16: Akif moves out onto the bridge, spear and shield readied as he gets into a defensive stance, and rallying the others.

End Round One, Begin Round 2 ...

R2T34: Myki takes an extract mid-air and becomes really small at only a single yard in height. She darts after her prey, helping the others see where she's going (and where her prey must be).

R2T27: The harpy withdraws at a far greater speed than Myki can advance, moving around the building and out of sight to the south and west.

R2T22: Iluvar, what do you do?

The Scribe on deck, Sisir in the hole ...

Iluvar calls out, "Myki, don't get drawn away. If they wants a fight they will have to come to us. Everyone off the walkway as quick as we can do we are not targets!"

Iluvar looks at the door for dangers. And will open it if he finds none.

Iluvar looks at the door for dangers. He doesn't notice anything askew, and opens the door. As soon as he does, there is strange feeling, and he looks down at his chest where now there is an arrow protruding for 24 + disoriented (+5 bleed) that nearly staggered him.

R2T21: "New contact to the east on Iluvar!" The Scribe calls out. He then begins an oration of brave Pathfinders crossing a chasm while being attacked by boulders from stone giants, and his story brings fire to the heroes in his company. Meanwhile, he moves to the west while taking out his bow and sets his ranseur down.

R2T20: Sisir, you are in total defense right now. What do you do?

Continuing down the walkway, Sisir attempts to fix his gaze on the creature to Iluvar's east. Stopping behind his brother, Sisir examines creature, and casts Mirror Image on himself. Speaking to Akif, he says "I've got your back, push forward!"

R2T20: Continuing down the walkway, Sisir attempts to fix his gaze on the creature to Iluvar's east. Stopping behind his brother, Sisir examines creature, and casts mirror image on himself (3 images). Speaking to Akif, he says "I've got your back, push forward!"

Akif spins the shield to cover from where the archer hovers and then glimpses the figure beyond Iluvar, "You I can reach!" he bellows and strides 10ft east towards the foe driving the long spear over Iluvar's shoulder at the foe on the other side of him a roar of battle to inspire his allies echoing in the small area.

His spear strikes the tiger-like woman in the right hand for 36 + shaken + confused, even as Iluvar heals 11 from silver, glowing energy.

R3T34: Myki disappears around the southwest of the building. Her voice is heard calling out distantly, "Contact!"

R3T27: This is in turn followed by a very angry screech, and then the winged woman appears from the north and west and flies out so she is 25' due north of Sisir, 15' above the level of the bridge. The winged woman doesn't appear to have a bow anymore.

R3T22: Iluvar, what do you do? You are no longer bleeding, but you are a little disoriented.

Tiger-lady on deck, The Scribe in the hole ...

Iluvar studies this tiger lady for a moment and calls upon Pharasma for aid and engages them. "Nice shot!", he says to them.

R3T22: Iluvar studies this tiger lady for a moment and calls upon Pharasma for aid and engages them. "Nice shot!" he says to them. He tussles for a second as she does not easily lose her grip on her bow, but Iluvar's superior combat and inspiration finally have her weapon slip out of her hands to the ground. He then does an elbow drop to her knee for 13, but she seems too distracted by other things to notice the pain. He does a snap kick to her left hand (13) to finish off his sequence.

R3T21.5: The catfolk is now wild-eyed and focused on Iluvar. She draws her short sword and stabs wildly at the monk.

R3T21: The Scribe continues his oration to buoy his allies' efforts. He then zooms past Sisir on the walkway, over the heads of Akif and Iluvar, and opposite the catfolk. With a kick he strikes the catfolk from behind for 41 NL + prone.

R3T20: Sisir, the flying woman (now without bow) is 20' north and 15' higher than your position (off map). Your hypnotic stare has done wonders to tear down the other assailant. What do you do?

Sisir shakes his head, saying, "Let's hope Myki makes it back in one piece, and without any new friends." Bowing his head momentarily, he recalls the feeling of sitting at home and looking out of the window at the early morning fog, as an illusory mist appears to his left, obscuring the walkway. Obstruction in place, he advances to once again stand behind his brother.

Standard Action: Cast Minor Image, creating the illusion of a dense fog filling the 4 10' cubes North of Sisir that are adjacent to the walkway, as well as the 4 10' cubes above those. Creating what appears to be a 10' thick 20' tall fog wall north of the walkway, with DC 18 to disbelieve.

Move: 15' East, ending behind Akif.

Tricks: If anyone with Mask Misery implanted become affected by any of the following conditions activate Mask Misery: Confused, dazed, frightened, sickened.

Akif is pleased as his allies surround this strange foe and his brother appears to protecting them from arrows. He stabs down again at the foe over Iluvar's shoulder seeking to send the foe flying and open to his allies as he drops into a more protected stance.

R3T16: Akif is pleased as his allies surround this strange foe and his brother appears to protecting them from arrows. He stabs down again at the foe over Iluvar's shoulder and into the catfolk's left lower leg for 55, but with Iluvar and The Scribe (and the house itself) crowding the prone woman, she doesn't go anywhere. Especially since she falls limp from that blow.

End Round 3, Begin Round 4 ...

R4T34: Sisir, seeing through his own illusion, notes that when Myki enters the cloud she seems to instantly sense the illusion and goes to engage the winged woman, stabbing her in the right wing for 20 + sickened.

R4T27: The winged woman tries to get away from Myki, but Myki stabs her in the upper right side of the chest for 16 + sickened. The winged woman continues to open datum while drawing her longsword. She comes in low over the middle of the walkway, but seeing something to the east she alights and calls out, pointing to the fallen catfolk,"PLEASE! Stabilize Kanya. If you do, I will surrender and we can talk. Why have you broken into my master's home so armed and with such violence!?"

R4T22: Iluvar, what do you do?

The Scribe on deck, Sisir in the hole ...

"We will hold!", Iluvar calls out, "We do not seek to kill. I can stabilize Kanye." He points to the downed catfolk.
He then casts a spell directed at the catfolk.

Akif steps back and holds up his spear. "Let us hear what you say then?" he offers hold the spear at a neutral angle and looking to see if Illuvar or the scribe can offer the fallen catfolk some healing.

Following his brother's lead, Sisir will rest his mace on his shoulder and put away his shield. "Well then, we've stood down, and our companion here is aiding Kayne. Let us talk like civilized folk. Might I have the pleasure of knowing your name" he says, resting his free hand on his stomach.

Myki, seeing a drawdown as she approaches, continues past and then loops around to the southwest out of sight again.

"My name is Herifax," calls the woman. "I would like to approach and verify the continued health of my friend before we go to far, though you can give me your names and why you broke into Berkanin Ardoc's house with such violence. But first, let me to my friend ... whose name is 'Kanya' ... not 'Kayne' and definitely not 'Kanye.'"

"Sorry, mis-heard the name. You can check on your companion.", Iluvar moves away from Kanye.

Akif nods in silence and steps aside to let her past, although he does a close grip on his spear to watch out for any nonsense or betrayal as she moves past him and see's to her fallen friend.

Herifax goes over and kneels over Kanya's unconscious form.

"Yes, she is gravely injured, but not comatose," reassures The Scribe as he begins to bind the catfolk female's wounds. "I had struck her with painful, non-injurious blows when I attacked, so she is merely unconscious for now, not comatose."

Herifax looks up and around. "If you heal the damage you caused her as she was merely in the performance of her duties as a guardian of this place, and if you promise that Kanya will come to no harm, I will aid you in killing the master of the house."

Iluvar looks at her closely.

Iluvar will try to figure out what she is saying is truthful or in line with how she is acting.

Akif turns in surprise at the woman’s offer, watching her as he weighs up her words searching for a falsehood. After a moment he asks carefully ”So… why would you offer that? Has the master of the house wronged you?”

"He is not worth protecting," she says matter-of-factually. "To expect such grace ..." and here she gestures to her fallen friend, "...to be thrown away against people like yourself. Not because he deserves my rancor, but by making foolish decisions and capturing giant kids, he has made..." and here she gestures to the party, "... such powerful enemies."

Akif nods at the explanation. ”We do not wish undue mayhem or destruction. We are not hill giants.” he adds the last with a wry smile and a wink at his brother. “Can you take us to the children then we can take them away from this place.”

"Nah, just one ... a troll," says Herifax. "And I won't do any of that until you heal up Kanya."

[Tippnick]

Iluvar pulls out a wand from his haversack and says, "Excuse me, this will help."
He then uses a charge from the wand until she is conscious.
