    Cheyanne looks around and finds one of the party's spellcasters. Handing them a wand, she says, "Here - use this on me. It gives me invisible force armor for an hour." After done, she thanks her friend and moves quietly up beside Grey. She concentrates on the biggest wolf intently, invoking silent magic to determine if it is [evil] or only violently wild. "I'll get right in the big wolf's face - looking like it does I'll bet it's some sort of villainous monster. I should be able to keep its attention safely while everyone else deals with the others," she says to him, finishing by looking for confirmation from Ted too.

    With someone's help Cheyanne will use a charge of her wand of Mage Armor.

    Then she will use Detect Evil to confirm the big wolf is evil.

    Finally, her plan is to charge the big wolf, use Smite Evil, and tank it as best she can. With her Sansetsukon she can fight defensively and get a shield bonus too, so I suspect she will be tough to hit.

    Helen looked at the wounded man with a professional air about herself, thinking of both mundane and, premodimantly, magical ways in which she could have helped him. She did what she could do, even though there have been more decent healers in this world.

    When the wolf have appeared, she rushed with all the others to help defend the house. She had some offensive magic she could cast… plus she could give her companions some light.

She crack open a window if needed, and cast a Glitterdust spell at the wolves, catching as many as she can in a spread of eye-violent shiny, glittering particles of gold. The spectacle should make it near impossible for the wolves to hide from the party.

Each round at the end of their turn blinded creatures may attempt new saving throws to end the blindness effect.

    Any creature covered by the dust takes a -40 penalty on Stealth checks.

    You are able to help reset the man's leg, but it will likely still need weeks of bereft before he is completely healed. He may be able to put some weight on it in a few days, but not for but a moment at a time.


    As you begin preparing and rushing out to the fenced in area outside the house, you all hear a song on the night air. As you come outside you see the four beasts, covered in gold glitter outside the fence, on the other side the of pit Ted dug up. The Larger black wolf has tilted its head back and is howling a beautiful song that is making your eyes droop and your muscles weary.

    When Grey hears that howling, he feels so tired - staying up all night might've been quite unwise; he stumbles outside quite clumsily in a drunk-like state, anger more than anything else giving him the strength to face the threat "Curse you." he spits before groggingly trying to recite an incantation towards the leader of the pack, a spell meant tio crush the bones and pull the enemy towards Grey.

    The Big boy wolf grunts twice. Once for the magical attack straining against his bones, and then once again as the three part staff cracks against its side, cracking bones in its own right. The Wolf, while blind seems concerned at the attacks being able to hurt it, but its blindness has disabled many of its options.

Her brain is still got a bit of a trick, however, as she pockets one hand and points between the group and casts a Haste spell to counter the song's effects and buff those who weren't affected.

    The transmuted creatures move and act more quickly than normal. This extra speed has several effects.

    When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with one natural or manufactured weapon. The attack is made using the creature’s full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. (This effect is not cumulative with similar effects, such as that provided by a speed weapon, nor does it actually grant an extra action, so you can’t use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round.)

    A hasted creature gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. Any condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose dodge bonuses.

    All of the hasted creature’s modes of movement (including land movement, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) increase by 30 feet, to a maximum of twice the subject’s normal speed using that form of movement. This increase counts as an enhancement bonus, and it affects the creature’s jumping distance as normal for increased speed. Multiple haste effects don’t stack. Haste dispels and counters slow.

    [Though blind, the keen senses of the three little wolves are still active in thier boopable snoots. Thier heads swivel sniffing Cheyannes close proximity. But they turn thier heads up, sniffing extra hard. They smell something that has thier interest.]


    The magic missile dart across the yard and hit the big boy as Roses song counters the lethargic song in the air. The blind big boy shakes his head as he takes a blind chomp at cheyanne.

    Helen was glad the big wolf was taken care of - all the more considering how threatening he was with his songs. Still, there were wolves that she needed to attend to, she thought, as she cast Acid Splash at the closest one.

    Though the remaining wolves are probably just wolves, they might have acquired a taste for human flesh and at the least need to be scared off, so Ted tries to strike one down with his axe.

    Helen's acid splash (1d3)[1] does some damage to the smaller boy. And as Ted rushes up and strikes one, his sword doesn't seem to deal as much damage as he'd like, as if the creature was resisting his weapon.

    As you are up in the front lines again with Ted raging, you can see his eyes have changed with his rage... his eyes look even more similar to these wolves in particular.


    The three smaller boys begin by doing a sort of doggy dance, while their back paws remain on the ground, they jump back and forth from left to right paw in the front, their bodies swaying and moving. Sniffing the air their mouth aim toward Ted.

    Grey is jolted awake by Rose's spell, he mutters a "Thank you." to the tiefling mage before rushing forward, dagger in hand, to stab the rightmost wolf and so start to encircle whatever is left of the pack; he might not feel the righteous fury Cheyanne has shown to the leader of the pack, but he's angry nonetheless and is eager to shed blood.

    It is only by the magic of the blade that Grey is able to pierce the hide of the wolf, its tough hide resists the blade while the magic of the blade allows it to cut a wound deeper than what Grey could otherwise accomplish.

    Helen's acid does burn the wolfs fur, but the first strike of Cheyannes that actually hits, finds that the hide is too hard and their strike with wooden three part staff, does no damage.

    Ted swings a mighty stroke and cuts the Injured Grey wolf, and though the hide resisted the blade, he cuts the wolf down and as it falls to the ground, it takes the form of a dark haired woman. The two remaining wolves snap at cheyanne and ted.

    With the aid of magic, Rose is able to leave a mark on the hide of one of the Grey wolves, were it not enchanted to deal more damage, it would not have gotten through the thick Grey fur.
