R1T21: "Better to be able to say we checked the empty rooms and confirmed there was no hidden passages, than none of us to return at all." Walter responds, before hearing the movement of creatures he can't see. "Is there something in there?" He asks, despite being sure he knows the answer while preparing himself for the fight.

R1T15: "Clanky, Bree-Yark!" cries a voice from within, followed by the same voice seemingly casting a spell that covers the mechanical.

R1T15: Some type of one-armed mechanical man clanks forward to engage Grathar. It hits Grathar right in the center of the chest for 6.

R1T11: Reiko tries to stab from the side of the doorway, missing the mechanical horror.

R3T6: "Hells," Aroden mutters as the room beyond goes dark. He exhales, shrugs, and steps out, bringing his lighted sword down and into the portal. As he does so, a surge blast shoots past his head to miss. The wild "magical" effect from Walter behind Aroden spooks the sellsword noble and a slight bit of that blast hits the lit source, blinding Aroden.

R3T5: "Guess it isn't going to move," Grathar says before lashing out with his meaty fist with a special maneuver that strikes the automaton with a crit for 7 mod, but in doing so makes a surprise opening for another attack, but misses that bonus. Still, that strikes did something odd, as electricity rocks all over the automaton.

R4T15: The caster gets into Mordren's line of sight and casts a spell at her. She is immediately terrified as the knowledge of the forces that the caster serves washes over her!

R4T14: The automaton punches Aroden in the elbow for 6 as electricity continues to spark and arc about the automaton.

R4T8: Mordren, the evil goblin caster terrified you with his mighty power. She runs away to the west, out of sight of the others.

R4T7: Now that Walter can see an enemy, he takes a moment to attempt to analyze it, hoping to determine a weakness, but this thing is just too strange for him to understand. Then he taps into his innate power and the emotions generated by his combat high to will launching a stream of electricity into it. Nothing happens, however. His mind is too unfocused to "aim" his emotions.

R4T6: Reeling from his attacker's blows and rubbing his eyes frantically, Aroden shakes his head and focuses his gaze on the sparking man. Springing back, he shouts, "Dwarf! With me!" ...and launches forward in a desperate counterattack, but before his sword contacts, the metal-man explodes in a burst of electricity that affects the heroes for Aroden & Reiko (1 electricity each), Grathar (5 electricity), & Walter (2 electricity).

R4T5: "AHH! dammit! Human... with me!" Grathar shouts back. He brings a hand up instinctively to his face to confirm his eyebrows are still eyebrows. Grathar enters the room and seeing his prey, chases down the goblin.

R4T4: Reiko comes out of delay, steps in past Aroden, and then goes into a defensive pose.

R5T15: Grathar sees the caster hold a symbol around his neck - that of a three-eyed monster that the dwarf thinks might be that of Lamashtu, but isn't sure - and a dark miasma erupts forth to cover Grathar (3 NE), Reiko, Walter, & Aroden (1 NE).

R5T8: Mordren, you are still instilled with the deep fear of monsters, continuing to make your way towards the exit.

R5T7: Walter starts into the room finally, now that the others have gone in and the metal thing has fallen, and looks to see if he can find the other hostiles in this dark mess. He finds that there is a table or something due south of Reiko, so feels along in the darkness to go southeast a few feet instead.

R5T6: "Damned to the Pit!" Aroden curses as his quarry erupts in front of him. He shakes himself off, and stumbles forward over the wreckage and into the room, already bloodied and battered from the combined assault.

"I count that one," he mutters to himself as he marches with his sword before him and leveled, ready to strike at whatever monster he might find in the dark. He does move north on a second burst as he sees Grathar but reaches the limit of the room and then doubles back and gets to where he sees the goblin.

R5T5: "Enemy to the east," Grathar says over his shoulder, cracking his knuckles. He repositions and swings at the goblin, nailing him right in a nerve plexus on his tricep for 7 + stunned, the pain from the nerve strike having him drop the wand that was in his hand.

R5T4: Reiko charges the stunned goblin, slashing along his left wrist's vein for 9.

R6T6: "Found you!" Aroden laughs as his sword illuminates the giant goblin, and he wastes no time in drawing back to deliver a mighty blow. "Look alive now!" he as he swings, intentionally bringing his sword far too close to hit before bringing it back around in a moulinet for a proper downward chop that does 17 (+1d6 bleed). The stunned goblin, on the other hand, was far too insensate to either be faked out or intimidated. Oh, and far too unconscious as it falls from the blow as well!
