Default Masak Ayam (escape the kitchen) IC

    OOC is HERE!

You have been abducted from you're original location. It may have been a small or big farm, or perhaps you got away and were living the high wild live in a forest. Or in a supermarket as a mascot. Perhaps you were one of only a few chicken from someone. Whatever may have been before it's not anymore. You're memories are somewhat vague, you remember some kind of weird tests and then... Rumors?

"Did you hear about the heron? He escaped I heard?"

    "They have lasers! Lasers!"

"The corn is alive? How can we eat it?"

    "I heard they eat us!?"

"Experimental failure ONG-178... Try the next batch."

You're head and your thoughts become clearer just as you are pulled out, into a harsh, cold and sharp environment. The angles are too sharp, everything seems like a danger and they are a lot of humans that handle you roughly. This can not stand!

    Scramble

Two rough humans in stark white outfits handle you. You try to slip away but they clamp down on your wings, one of them pulls a dangerous looking item, you move your head in just the right sassy way and kluck in the totally correct manner. One of the guys ignore you, the others eyes got big, shocked even and pulls the other by the collar who let's you free! One human shakes the other angrily while shouting. "How did it know? How can it possibly know? HOW?!"

    Enyo

You get handled by a human in an almost blinding white outfit, ready to pour something over you. The big human get's smaller and smaller though, till he can't handle you anymore, you grab him with your... Clawy hands? and scream into it's ear What!? What!? WHAT!?

The human falls down, hits his head and doesn't move anymore, you sitting on it's chest, now normally sized again.

    Spoiler: OOC
    Show
Don't consider you're power used for the day.

    Thunderbok

You realize three humans handling you, one holding you down, another two getting sharp and creepy seeming tools of some kind. You manage to flap your wings and a small localized storm suddenly manifests, throwing the people around but keeping you unharmed. The staff members fall down like twigs, seemingly unable to move for the moment.

    Ace

The human in the sickly white outfit mumbles something then looks around, witnessing the chaos that nearly simultaniously takes place. In a flash of insight you stretch one of your claws out, turning a small handle, fire erupts under one of the humans hand, he screams throwing you up in the air, you manage to land while the human knocks over a heavy pot of water, knocking himself out but extinguishing his flame.

    All

You left a lot of chaos in your sudden wake. The only sound that is heard is from one of the humans sobbing quietly. "How? How could it know?" Not that you can really understand them of course. Otherwise the kitchen is eerily quiet. You have a rough idea where you were coming from, but otherwise you're knowledge is limited. You're craws are not totally empty at least.

[cluck]POWER! [cluck-cluck] UNLIMITED POWER!! Enyo states as matter of factly as the situation warrants it (which is to say, none too). In hindsight, this all makes perfect sense. She's a bird. She's supposed to be on top. And terror – terror is in her very blood. It's always been. Her time has come!

Scratching the human with a talon to make sure it's not going to spring up, she makes a face as devillishly smug as a chicken can as she feels her weight increase, growing to cave that fragile ribcage all the way in. Who's. Food. [cluck] NOW?! she asks, rhetorically, as the case might be, her terrible pecking beak shooting downwards, thirsting for BLOOD!

This was set up so perfectly. Of course she'll Press (the Attack) (NB: she's not shifting her shape right now, just increasing her density. Magically.)

As one of the murder giants wrestles with the other, there is a glint in Scramble's eye, and the moment the unsobbing one checks, there is a chicken-shaped poof where a brown chicken used to be. With a cool spin, Scramble jumps into a metal bowl, surfing down the aisle (where did the shades come from?) towards the southern door. On the way, she grabs a ladle with her beak, leans to her right, jets over an overturned casserole form, and sails through the air with a sick bowl kick flip. The hooked portion of the ladle is hooked on the door's handle, with Scramble herself weighing the whole thing down by planting herself on the bowl portion of the utensil.

Yeah! Using the murder giants' torture instruments against them! Because Scramble McRoasty is a cool criminal, leaving the stupid criminals in the dust!

    Spoiler: OOC

This is my plan. I shall now add a Skill check to see if Scramble face-plants in the door, before falling on the ground, and having the bowl land on her head.

I am also now declaring that Scramble, somehow, wears shades.

"Just as planned", Archibald squawked, trying to comprehend what was happening.

He looked around at the equal parts unfamiliar and chaotic surroundings, starting to lecture to a largely nonexistent audience. "Clearly, this is... this is, eh... quite something, all right." In a uncharacteristic blaze of common sense, Archibald decided to shut up and run for some sort of cover.

    Enyo

Your beak, thirsty for the blood of your attacker finds it mark and you drink. You feel a rush of power flowing through you're veins. All in all it's a pretty slight rush, like you're just having taking a dust bath and then dozed a bit in the sun, it's nice, yes but you have expected a tad more. Also you're pretty well fed now, probably take some time till you can drink again, though it was definitely enough to knock the human straight out.

    Scramble

with an impressive slide and an immaculate landing, you open the door with you're improvised handle, it swings open readily. Showing you some kind of Section that shows you two different ways. There are two weird signs with something on them that may not immediately make sense.

    Left sign

    1 14 9 13 1 12
    19 20 15 18 1 7 5

    Right sign

    20 5 19 20 9 14 7
    1 18 5 1
    2

    Thunderbok

It's not hard to open this particular double door, you only need to slightly lean against it to get it open. You see a Big hall with a lot of tables and chairs (sadly without the windows) On the right side are small doors with Signs incomprehensible for any chicken. On the left is another easy-to-open-double-door and straight ahead is a more complicated looking door.

There are 5 humans seated, they kinda look similiar to the ones before but you can't exactly place a claw on it.

It seems they haven't taken notice of you yet.

    Ace

You take cover and survey the situation. The humans around you are definitely all knocked out and there doesn't seem to be any danger at the moment. With two open doors towards your destination that may change though.

Scramble peers up at the rectangles, most inquisitively I might add. She considers complaining at them to reveal their secrets, but oh no, there is that glint in the eye again. Looking rather smug, and definitely knowing what she is doing, Scramble waltzes off to her left. Local rectangles can breathe easy. For now.

Confidence and composure somewhat regained, Archibald took off in the same direction as the sassy brown chicken. When in doubt, follow someone who seems to know where they're going and claim it was your idea.

Of course, the one thing better than claiming to know better was actually doing so. On pure instinct, Archibald extended his senses to match the size of his ego and to see ahead.

The kitchen doesn't seem to have that many more victims. They seem to be strewn out and knockend out mostly. They are some shiny things, but they look sharper than most claws, and the ones that are not sharp are unwieldy and not good nesting material (though one or the other pot may be a good hiding or nesting place if sufficiently stuffed). They are more humans at the dining hall in the north that don't seem to be aware of your presence yet. When Thunderbok slightly opened the door, they're gibberish can be heard, you're sure you didn't hear anything while it was closed, they probably didn't hear about the havoc you wrecked inside.

His head suddenly filled with quite possibly eldritch horrors, Archibald almost ran into a wall before coming to a stop. "Nononono. This, this doesn't seem like the right way." He tried catching his breath and regain some measure of composure to very little success. "Monsters. Feathers. Moving bones." His mind slid into familiar territory. "It's a well known fact that those things are BLOODY TERRIFYING!"

As Scramble never skipped leg day, she does her stretches, does a big run up, and jumps/flutters/wall-runs up to the door handle. One foot grabs the handle, the other braces against the wall, and she flutter PUUUUUUULLS!

    And nothing happens.

Scramble stops, tries to pull again (nothing happens), head tilting inquisitively to examine the handle and the wall. There's even a peck on the steel! Then her eyes fall on the black block next to the door, and another rectangle. Squinting, she deciphers the riddle, and has a good laugh at the lock.

Enyo is mighty displeased. The remaining opposition is not even worth murderizing. BONES DON'T MOVE! she boldly proclaims. I FEAR NOTHING!! she adds, strolling over to the other side of the room to check on the two chickens not currently accounted for as elegantly as her kind can; she is in no hurry to see the "monsters", nevertheless. The door shivers and trembles at Scrambles words. "I'm note uequired to do anything!" It swings up quickly and fast, not triggering any alarms interestingly and squashing Scramble at the wall. Then closing as fast as it opened.

    "BAGAWK!"

The two-dimensional chicken slowly slides down the wall, before lifting off like a sheet of paper, floating in the air with a spin until she lands on the ground. After popping back into visibly dizzy three-dimensional form, face still very much stuck to the ground, a muffled "I think I deserved that one" is heard. The world is conspiring against Scramble as it keeps spinning to confuse her as she gets up! The others see her walk in winding lines (with groggy "Bok bok"s), shades askew, alongside feathers sticking in any direction.

"Dis stan'mal stor'ge," scrambled Scramble informs the loud chicken, one wing pointing at the ceiling lamp to clarify. "Need a lev'l 2 to not get hit." A pirouette around the loud chicken later, Scramble is heading down the corridor again, to investigate the direction with the funny rectangles she didn't pick before.

Enyo is about to disparage the freshly not flat other chicken for the odd notion that they couldn't acquire a level two ceiling lamp (whatever that might be) if the Tyrant herself wanted to, but Scramble was already scrambling away, perhaps to plaster herself over some other door somewhere else. With only some surprisingly subdued clucking, Enyo elected, for now, to content herself with stalking behind, close by the wall, as menacingly as no OTHER ambush predator could ever hope to stalk.

Head still stuffed with visions of monsters, flying reptiles and fat chickens, Archibald glanced back and forth between the now once again closed door and the other direction. The choice between monsters and mysteries was not an entirely easy one.

On one wing, going through the door would mean coming beak to beak with monsters. On the other, it would mean knowing more than others about where to go...

His mind made up, Archibald tilted his head and glared suspiciously at the door. Surely there was some ancient human trick to opening it without getting smashed.

"Has anyone seen a..." Speaking to no one in particular, Archibald tried emphasizing the words in a suitably dramatic fashion. "...yellow card? Or a... red card?" He paused and looked around, a bit disappointed by the lack of attention. "Because I know what to do with them. Almost certainly."

A googie -- an ugly goggie. Still, even a goggie didn't deserve to be stuck in a cage, waiting to be eaten. Thunderbok clucked with indignation towards the white sentinels beeping without care.

    "BAWWWWWWWWWK!!!"

And a small bolt of lightning zapped the nearest white device.

Enyo scratches, flutters and pecks furiously as the clad in white human. Enyo does draw some blood with her sharp claws but doesn't get the aggressive human down.

He screams, now somehow very comprehensible.

    "Damn, where's this emergeny button!?"

He slaps the wall instead of Enyo, hitting the door and the weird thing beside it but nothing seems to happen.

You could use you're blood-drawing power here, but that would make you really filled up (think total overeaten) or knock him out with another Skill check.

Ace's mind is filled with knowledge, while he bleeds out of his left nostril, like everyone with psychic powers who overuses them.

Scramble hanging down sees the dog in his weird eyes while Thunderbok zaps one of the weird white sentinels who gives off a weird sound IIIIIGGGGWWWW and turns black. The dog says something that you can understand because it's in the human language.

"FOOD!? IS TASTY?!" And jumps towards Scramble, the door not protected by the sentinels anymore gives off, possibly squashing Scramble, AGAIN!

"Bok? Bok boBA-GAWK!" ("What? No, no fooBA-GAWK!") Scramble goes as the kennel is suddenly pushed open, flapping her wings trying to free her foot before potentially getting squashed (and thus marked with targeting lanes to be made into chicken strips!). The very last moment, her foot pops free, getting a bit of momentum from the kennel door falling over, and thus she lands on her feet after a rapid triple somersault. Nailed it. Ignore stumbling to the side a bit.

Scramble knows Borkers (and has shown at least one what's what!) and the many codenames Peoples have for Borkers, being natural conspirators to keep a free chicken down. "No, bad Borker! Weird chomper Pupper! Weird eyes and chomper Floofer! Take this, HAIYAAAA!" And the very next moment, Scramble McRoasty goes for a spinning flying kick to the nightmare fuel Borker's nose!

While Enyo is far too busy to pay attention to whatever's happening past the door, she can recognize the sound of destruction from beyond. It is a good sound. Sounds like victory. She'll have to commend the thunderchicken on that. But before then… The work is not yet done here! [cluck-crrrrow]DO YOU NOT KNOW DEATH, YOU FOOL?![crrrrow!] she warns the great beast once more in her pleasing frenzy. I'LL TEACH YOU!! she crows – and the onslaught continues.
