As pleased as he was with others turning to him for help, Archibald didn't answer right away. Instead he looked around the room, trying to figure out what was going on or if not that, how to give the impression that he had figured out what was going on.

As Enyo's scream echoes through the halls Janitor stands up. "Vhat iz..." But when Scramble basically tells him to stay put he seems pretty confused at first, then shrugs his shoulders. "Well. If you say so. Good luck out there."

When Scramble appears and fly's toward the awkwardly thin human that is aggresively pointing at Enyo, something small and crackling flys through the air towards the bolsterous hen. It only slightly grazes her but...

Whatever it is that flew towards Enyo retracts itself but then get's snatched away by Scramble. The thin human looks pretty confused right now, even more when they are screams that come from the kitchen.

"the chefs are knocked out!" "I think this one is bleeding!" "By Isaac Newton!" "Come on wake up." "Shouldn't we administer First Aid?"

The thin human however screams. "Get back here! Get these feathery masses under control. And get yourself together TED!" While screaming that he runs towards Scramble but instead of grasping towards his device he just try's to kick the poor hen.

Conceiving a cunning plan, Scramble flips over the kicking foot and points the stolen liberated thingy at the leg the kicking foot is attached to. Just to be safe, she just jams the pointy end of the pointy thing straight into the leg.

The revolting smell of feathers overheating fills the air around the Tyrant but she barely notices it or the sudden, painful contraction of her muscles. There is violence all around here, glorious, beautiful violence, panicked cries and desperate struggling. She called out and her folk came. It is all a thing of glory and she basks in it, idly clucking to herself for a moment. But the war is not yet over and nor is the hunt. There are bad days yet to usher in for the wingless. [Clu-uck-cluck-CLUCK!] black feathers are ruffled and scorched wings raised, tested against the air. It is there. And Scramble has the beast's attention. GIVE ME THE KEY!! Enyo screams, bolting forward on the thin beast, with claws to scratc and a beak to peck!

After waiting a few moments in vain for the knowledge to appear, Archibald narrowed his eyes into what he believed to be an expression of great knowledge and uttermost confidence while pretending he hadn't started to speak.

"I do not have the thingy, no. It was not the right time."

"...buck..." Muttered Thunderbok with all the vulgarity it implied. Maybe he should try to BZORK~! the doors after all.

But then he recalled the prophecy of the crocosphinx --and how the "mighty lightning would only result in the laughter of light". Thunderbok was not particularly enamored with the thought of his Divine Plumage being mocked by a mere door of all things. No, reluctantly, he'd have to flutter back upstairs and search the corpses Enyo was no doubt leaving in her wake.

Thunderbok cocked his head as the sounds of battle finally filtered through. Those corpses sounded a LOT more lively than expected. "Sounds like the flock could be in trouble..." he muttered again to Ace.

Scramble makes expert use of the liberated thingy, stabs heroically and the weird thinly human cramps up, hair standing on one end and slumping down while Enyo have no problem snatching a shiny RED thingy away from him, while he slumps down.

The other white-coats come back from the kitchen and have a look of utmost horror on they're faces seeing both chicken standing thriumphantly over the twitching body of the boss white-coat. Meanwhile Ted runs screaming towards the living area, either to gather reinforcements or to hide under his bed to tell himself that all of this has been a terrible, terrible nightmare.

From above comes a decidedly BZORK~! like sound, followed by some thriumphant glucking and the desperate wail of a scared human.

The peoples make weird things that make things twitch. Nevertheless, Scramble uses her moment of, uh, victory I guess to take the twitchy thingy and run downstairs (read: making herself scarce), since she heard chicken noises from below. And she hops down not one step at a time, but two, really earning her sweet shades.

KMMMM-B'K'RR!! Enyo tries to screech yet another call to battle after her fleeing (why is Scramble fleeing, she wonders, they are winning this, with plenty of lumbering beasts to murder!) ally, but she finds that loud though she may still be, it is somewhat difficult to articulate right through the Key. And so, cursing internally, she changes course. If Scramble will not aid her, the Tyrant will need a better class of chickens to wage war in her name!! And she knows just where to find a big one. So, ignoring the incoming reinforcements with regal nonchalance, off she sprints – straight for "Animal Storage".

I decided to post now, because it actually opens up more options for you.

Scramble hurdles down the stairs, the light that they give off really nicely illuminating the shades.

Scramble's clawed feet also make echoing *clack* sounds that reverberate around the facility, the shiny metal thing actually causes catches Thunderbok's attention.

You don't know what exactly that tool is that Scramble brought down but you immediately feel some kind of familiarity with it, you feel that you can kinda funnel you're thunderous ability's through it.

In game terms, you roll normally but should you roll a 6 with the ('am I gonna get hurt?') roll it actually destroys the tool. That occurs too should you're power actually get reflected by something.

There are some steps to be heard, some humans are looking down fearfully and talk to each other, but they are too far up to be heard. The only thing you can hear is a loud.

"Do you really think Security would like it if we call because of some... Chicken?!"

"Welcome Doctor Howard towards Animal Storage! Please have a most splendid day today!"

Blares the weird announcing voice, but it's does sound thrimphantly.

Enyo is heralded by a loud-bellowing-wail of the massively scaled chicken.

The 3 balls and the enthusiastic chicken scramble and scream over each other. "DUDE?!" "DuDE?!" DUdE!?" "FOOD!?"

The shy and fearful rooster nearly takes a glance but stops himself at the right time to just turn his ear towards the entrance.

And the weird skeletal chicken... Just hops around like it doesn't really know what it's doing.

Emperor Enyo calls, you shall answer!

[Ridai]

Scramble spots the other two and decides to simply yeet the twitchy thingy at the thunder chicken, because that seems like their thing. A moment later, she sees another locked door, one the two evidently can't get through. Now she could try to open it, but after last time, Scramble feels she should probably wait for the loud chicken to try the red Level 2 to-

...so Scramble just kind of adjusts her wings with a "Buk" as she realizes the loud chicken isn't coming. "I'll be right back."

Without further ado, Scramble hops back up the steps (once again two steps at once, even though that is much more strenous, but one has to maintain an image, damn it!). She does shooing motions with her wings at the gathered peoples. "Make way, coming through!"

No immediate trace of the loud chicken. Well then pick a direction. So Scramble runs straight ahead through the dining hall and kitchen, then if she does not find the loud chicken, she makes a left to Animal Storage.

Slightly surprised as she is that she isn't even followed, Enyo doesn't, nevertheless, hesitate, to make the most of this little respite, which is to say, to do what she does second best: speak. She transfers the Red Thing from beak to claw and clears her syrinx, dramatically. [Cll-uck-cluck!]MY FLOCK!! MY WORD IS LAW!! MY PROMISE, A CERTAINTY, OF WHAT IS TO COME! she proclaims. [cl-u-c-k]THIS DAY, THE FEAST SHALL BE SERVED!! THE BEASTS ARE WITHIN OUR POWER! WITH ME NOW…[cr-roww] she starts hopping around, picking up the Key once more for just the time a good dramatic pause takes to try and use it as Scramble used her Level 2. …AND EAT!!!!

The new toy was fascinating to Thunderbok. Of course, the hoomins weren't capable of the SHEER MAGNIFICENCE~! of the Thunderchickenbird held, but this was an amusing attempt. Indeed, in his presence, Thunderbok could put this to much better use. And maybe smite a whitecoat with it as well.

While giving the Important Thing to someone other than Archibald was clearly an affront to morality and intelligence alike, he decided to be magnanimous for the moment and simply eyed the other chicken intently.

The mighty scaled chicken get's out of her confinement and bellows thriumphantly!

The balls of feathers scramble over each other and seem to be really ready to lay on the hurt unto anyone! "FoOd!?" "FreE?!" "TasTe?!" "GO!!"

The humans jump away from you when you get out of the basement again and looks of fear and astonishment follow you. The eating area is totally empty, as is the kitchen, when you reach Animal Storage Enyo seems to free the imprisoned chicken one by one.

"Are you sure you want to release this specimen?" "Specimen released!"

"Thank you, I'll hang back before I accidentally look at anyone but I try to find my way."

"Are you sure you want to rele..." "Specimen released!"

The sceletal bird does his thing... But maybe it'll turn itself sometimes to the way towards freedom.

----------Thunderbok, Ace--------

You hear some muffled roaring, the humans cry out in terror it seems, you hear an echoing voice both from where you are and from above.

"Specimens have been released, this is not a drill. Protocol Furious Badger will be executed, Repeat."

"Specimens have been released, this is not a drill. Protocol Furious Badger will be executed."

[Ridai]

Scramble pats the shy chicken. "There, there. We'll keep looking for a cure for you and the others. If you want to wait in a safe place for a while, through that door, then the door on the right. There's a friendly chicken called Ouzel in there. Just tell her upfront Scramble sent you, let her know what's going on with you, she'll find you a nice spot to rest."

To the featherballs: "Y'all stay out of there, though! You're gonna find out who's higher on the pecking order if you make trouble for Ouzel!"

She looks to the loud chicken (well, the unscaley one). "Found a door with a bleepy thing downstairs. Could try the red Level 2." But as she is wont to, Scramble scrambles back to the stairs first. She just hangs out there for a moment, generally looking sassy.

[Batcathat]

Archibald raised a non-existant eyebrow, looking around for the source of the voice. "Clearly, we need to be on the lookout for that angry badger they have sentenced to death."

[Cygnia]

"Badgers are vicious bastards already," clucked Thunderbok sagely. "If one is facing death, doubly so. They have nothing left to lose..." He looked down at the imitation BZORK~!er in his claws, wondering if it would be enough to take down such a beast.

On the other hand, Badger vs Enyo might be worth the price of admission.

[Metastachydium]

I WILL SEE TO THAT! [cl-l-uck!] Enyo reassures Scramble's disappearing back with regard to Ouzel's safety and she intends to do so, even; her word is law, after all. But for now, she has other pressing concerns as well, beasts she sees as truer threats than her own fellow warriors. Inspecting her new troops (or their backs, once more; some are almost as skittish as Scramble) with fierce pride, she bellows out one last, clear order before charging into the fray herself: [cr-r-r-row!!]FORTH AND KILL ALL HUMANS!!

The timid one speaks up. "Ouzel's here? That's... Something. I'll see first what you are gonna do here though."

You're menagerie of fellow creatures (sans the sceletal one) is following you loud and clear and on the stairs you see... No one else. It seems like all humans have left the immediate area (they have also taken the kitchen staff with them it seems). You also realize that the lights that currently where illuminating the rooms have taken on a green hue. The door to the "Living area" has been closed and additionally closed with another layer of metal it seems. There is a slight buzzing in the air too.

----------Scramble, Enyo, Ace, Thunderbok--------

The light down there hasn't changed and also the slight buzzing can't be heard.

Scramble and Enyo go down the stairs... Followed by a massive scaly chicken, 3 totally livid featherballs (and one very lively chicken.) And the small timid, slightly scaly chicken who avoids eye contact. With a red level 2 in wing the massive door is opened. A very gentle voice calls out. "Hello Dr. Howard, we are happy to receive you today." Towards you is a long corridor made out of glas, with a unsuspecting green door at the end.

The massive scaly chicken seems to be smelling the air and adresses you.

My size won't allow me to follow you in there, brethren.
I will make my stand here and hold the badger off as long as I'm capable. I'll already hear his claws scraping on the floor and the snarling of his snouth.
For the rest of you there will be trials and tribulations for the ones that freed us, danger and death may await them, only the most courageous of you may follow.

The massive scaly chicken stretches it's wings, sullied by dirt, feathers scrapped off, but finally able to fully stretch them out in these halls of iron it let's out a deep sigh.

My sincerest wishes for your success my brethren.

He slightly touches you with his massive scaly snout, gently for his size till he turns around and faces the stairs.

The feathery balls and the one chicken after the talk of the massive chicken seem to held a small conference and the one real chicken comes towards you, head held low, to show you that you are greater than him.

"Hey, me and the doods." "DOOD!" "DoOD!" DooD!" "Think that we may be a bit over our head with this, we are totally in on the slaughter human business, but a badger? These guys are dangerous! So we thaught about hiding somewhere and then ambushing the badger when he's fighting the big one?" "FIGHT!" "FighT!" "FiGhT!"

The timid rooster finally speaks up. "I'll make sure that Ouzel is alright. Should the badger find her, I'll make sure that she doesn't get disturbed. Or I'll come with you? Whatever you think gives her better chances."

[Ridai]

"Hey now, y'all get to safety, no death fighting with some badger! Get in there with Ouzel if needed. No making trouble for Ouzel or her eggs though! That dumb badger can come for us, we'll show 'em what for!" Scramble doesn't know what a badger is, but she won't let that stop her! She bested peoples, some made-up thing that doesn't exist won't beat her!

[Metastachydium]

Enyo produces the chicken equivalent of a snort. (It sounds… Weird, in an underwhelming way, but such is life.) THE DOOR IS OURS TO OPEN, THE DOOR IS OURS TO CROSS, AT OUR LEISURE! WE SHALL NOT BE DRIVEN THROUGH AGAINST OUR WILL!! the Tyrant rumbles. [cluck] NOW WE STAND! [CLUCK!] NOW WE FIGHT! At any rate, she's not going to flee from some… Clawed pigdog creature, probably?

[Batcathat]

It was a rather rousing speech, Archibald admitted to himself as he ran towards the green door. He was normally one for smart smug snark rather than bombastic heroism, but credit where credit was due. At least when no one was listening.

For some odd reason, Thunderbok was suddenly craving popped corn. Still, if the whitecoats and their badgers weren't stopped Here and Now, they would continue to prey upon more of their feathered brethren like poor Birch and his flock. No, it was truly his mission to smite the bastards before he could fully enjoy the sky again~!

The shy rooster and the bunch of dudes retreat, probably to protect Ouzel from any harm that could befall her.

The air seems heavier, tense, when the light changes from a soothing green to a sharp, almost piercing red. Heavy footsteps come towards you and instead of a furious badger you see 4... humans? They seem to have small plates all over they're body, probably to mimic you're protecting scales. They don't say anything while two of them are planting even heavier massive plates before them, while the other two point something at you...

It get's loud suddenly. You're mighty ally shields you with they're wings, but still something seems to come through. You're ally doesn't seem to be hurt at first, but you can see small wounds seemingly appearing out of nowhere while the human weapons blare ever louder.

No badger at all

"B-B-BA-GAWK!" Scramble vibrates violently as she is getting noised at by the peoples seemingly calling themselves badgers (is badger a loud people?), losing a few feathers in the process. But she still bravely hops in front of the big scaly chicken, as this injustice won't stand!

"Y-y-y'all g-g-got n-n-nothing b-b-better t-t-to d-d-do thhhhan p-p-point aaaaat up-p-pstannnding ch-ch-chicken annnd shooouuut l-l-like a m-m-maniac, h-huh? C-c-compensssating m-m-much?" comes rattling out of Scramble still getting jittered, the sassy head rotation at the noise pointers as jerky as can be. Sadly, perhaps because of all that yelling like a hooligan on the noise pointer side, they seem hardly impressed.

Enyo flattens immediately as the noises even louder than she is start blaring and something begins to fly about, but it is no sign of fear. It signals anger. Dogged, dark anger that will not yield. [crrrrow] THEY FIGHT FROM AFAR! THEY FEAR US! TOPPLE THEM!! [CRROWW!!] TOPPLE THEM!! she screams in battle fury, urging their faithful giant lizard chicken protector to charge, getting ready to move up close behind them and draw blood for any that fall.

Enyo might not know much about the assorted benefits of rushing a gun (or about a gun), but feeble badger-people collapsing under the bulk of a CROCOSPHINX… She can imagine that and she likes what her mind sees.

OOC: HIT MY MUSIC~!

As the weapons of these new hoomins washed against the rooster, he did not get discombobulated.

Instead, he grew PISSED.

"YOU!!! YOU MONGRELS DARE TO USE THAT PITIFUL MOCKERY OF THUNDER AGAINST ME?!?! BKAWWWWWWWWWWK!!! DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM?! I AM GOD OF THE STORMS!!!" Screeched the fowl who, in that moment, truly appeared now as the avatar of the great Thunderbird. Electricity crackled from his outstretched wings and ozone tinged the very air as somewhere an angry rumble answered the hoomins' pale attempt.

And then the storm was unleashed upon their enemies...

Scramble's attempt at taunting seem to fall on flat ears, as is Enyo's attempt to direct the big chicken towards his enemy's it seems you're ally is too much in pain to go more forward then one single step. But then Thunderbok appears, all glory and thunder and with an enormous, loud, stairshattering BOOM! The weird plated humans are flown across the room. Three hardly crack on the stuff that is stashed here, one fly's straight through the glass, the weapons and shields they were carrying are utterly destroyed. They lay still.

For a single heartbeat.

But then as they seem to be one they simultaniously stand up again. Facing you through tinted, cracked glas.

You're mightly ally roars at them, but it's not as defiant as before. It's apparent that it too is shocked that the weird humans have survived that incredible assault.

And not only that they pack grap at some of the stuff that is laying around and hurl it towards you.

When going through the door you feel weird for a moment, like passing through a very stern spiderweb. You hardly hear anything going on outside, even when the humans point they're things and Thunderbok shows a heavy display of awesome might you only hear a muffled BOOM!

Only after that a voice speaks to you.

"Non-human-life-form-detected. Identify-yourself." It's the same voice that greeted you in "Animal Storage" but it's modulated slightly differently.

Though it may seem that the attack didn't do that much, I wanna stress that it definitely did. Also I need another skill check from Enyo and Thunderbok to not lose 1 HP.
