So every two or three days or so? About 2.5 a week?

Groovy. I actually really like this novel we've written together, so I'm happy we get to continue it lol.

    Spoiler
    Show

I had 20 minutes to kill during a lunch once and for fun I actually copy and pasted the entirety of Act 1 into a word document...off the top of my head it was like 390,000 words, when the average young adult novel is 50,000 to 80,000 lol. We've got like 6 young adult fantasy novels first draft written already lol, and that's not including the Act II thread XD.

I would 100% read the tale of Taalia Trollslayer as a Warhammer novel series. They'd have to still be making Warhammer novels, of course... :(

    *Thinks and shrugs*

I dunno...change some things around lol. Warhammer is basically medieval low fantasy Europe with some high fantasy and low-key steampunk elements thrown in. Though thinking up a substitute for the Skaven would be the biggest hurdle, making a villainous race as compelling and viscerally repulsive as them would be difficult.

Outside of that, it wouldn't be too difficult to edit, adapt, alter and change lol.

I'll post either tonight or tomorrow morning.

She thought of tying an animal down as bait and then leaving, but seemed too unreliable.

So, she will tie one of the chickens down near the road to provide a distraction while she finds a hiding spot.

    Hide: (1d100)[100] vs TN 62

FP if needed as it's pretty important: (1d100)[54] vs TN 62

Glad I spent that FP lol.

So she's got a hiding spot, but not the best one. Still, she's got the chicken distraction/bait, so that might give a bonus or in game advantage.

Does her great agility give her a +5% bonus to her toughness roll? She's got the Rover talent as well .

    *Consults rover talent.*

Hmm. I am up for shenanigans, but not this time. Agility success means you get there in time; the marginal fail toughness means Taalia is going to arrive winded. Which, honestly, is more cinematic. Shadowing them across the countryside is a cool idea, but with them on wolfback and you on foot, you basically need to sprint to keep up anyway.

It does! It means she is going to arrive at the very outset of the conflict, within range to do things.

As for how much time it bought... two or three minutes probably, but it's enough. If you give me a little RP post about running, I'll set up the board.

Looks like a garbo round of initiative all-round lol.

Although, from Taalia's position, that's not entirely a bad thing, as it allows her to pick off whoever the bandits didnt take down.
