Three long wooden tables and dozens of chairs that once lined this mess hall are in shambles, mostly rotted away with the passage of years. Light shines through several large holes in the ceiling, illuminating a closed door on the east wall.

Ten bunk beds in various stages of disrepair fill this chamber, which must once have been a dormitory for students. The roof is mostly intact, and an open arch in the north wall leads to a large hallway. The east and west walls both bear sturdy wooden doors leading to other rooms, and an open arch in the southeast corner of the room leads into a darkened antechamber, perhaps a large closet.

S13: Khair feels a sharp sting followed by a burning at the top of his head (4 + 3 poison)!

R1T19: Zaihi takes something out and drinks it down. Her form changes to become broader, stockier, but uglier. She hops up onto beds and bounces south on them before jumping into the southeast corner.

R1T18: Alahazra steps down next to Khair. Spinning her quarterstaff, she catches something above Khair's head with a *wumpf* for 8.

R1T17: Alain moves south and attacks and swings above Khair's head, missing.

R1T16: Trevorn scrambles safely into the southwest corner and jumps up to hit something with a spiny fist for 6.

R1T15: Wahaj takes wing and flies south but way overthinks its missed bite.

R1T13: Khair gets hit in the turban again for 4 + 3 poison.

R1T12: Khair, roll a Fort save vs. the poison. You look above you and there is a beige spider that is long as you are, on the wall above you! What do you do?

Motioning to draw a weapon, Khair draws Efreeti’s Brass Scimitar, and calls upon Sarenrae’s grace in his strike as he roars to challenge his eight legged foe.

Khair dismisses the conjured scimitar now that combat has finished. Wincing slightly at his wounds, Khair still dutifully thanks Sarenrae for easing some of his pain. Prayer concluded, Khair looks ahead and explores what’s beyond the doorway the spider hid above.
