Lost Mine of Phandelver - Gundren's Ward

Maria has been worried about Gundrenn. So she is concentrating on what to do next. What she does do is keep alert. She follows along with the party but does not go ahead of them and scout. That is not her strength and if she got into melee she would be in a rather bad spot. So she waits for the others to go whereever need be.

As you make your way into the next room, the sounds of running water reaches its peak volume. Ahead of you are two pools made of piled stones. A narrow waterfall flows into the pools from high above. The water flows out of the pools to the north west, creating the stream you saw flowing out the front of the cave. Five goblins stand around arguing, seemingly unaware of the fight you just had due to the roar of water. One holds a sturdy staff and stands ready near the pool. The rest are armed similarly to those you've fought before, bows and scimitars

There are two exits to this cavern, both to the west. One is the tunnel with the creek, sloping down ground level. The other is level with this room and appears to cross over the creek, but you can't tell without getting closer to the exit... and the goblins

Seeing the goblins nearby and currently unaware of her group, Sigrún decides to get the drop on them before they have a chance to react. "Get ready to attack." she says to the others before throwing a javelin at the one she assumes is the leader of the group.

Feeling rejuvenated Smelkie finds a good hiding spot to duck behind , potentionally out of reach of the goblins.
With Sigrún throwing her javelin he fires an arrow at the closest one.

The goblin takes (1d4)[2] psychic damage on a failed DC 14 Wis Save. If they fail their save, they also have disadvantage on their next attack roll made before the end of their next turn.

Sigrún's javelin takes the staff-goblin down in a moment. The goblins shriek and turn towards you, large black eyes glittering with hatred. But you have surprised them and it takes them a moment to gather themselves. Before they can react, Smelkie's arrow has slain another, Lonnie has partially frozen one over (though he lives), and Yorrel's curse causes another to cry out in pain.

Netish cuts the last healthy goblin down. Della's swing crushes another. Maria's firebolt glances off the ground near the remaining goblin, showering the cave in sparks, but missing her. As her comrades fall within moments of your arrival, the remaining goblin throws down her weapon and holds up her arms in surrender Mercy, humans! Don't wanna die!

Lonnie nods, letting her casting focus settle in by her side. "Smartest goblin we've met all day," she comments. "If you want to keep living, you should answer our questions thoroughly and truthfully."

Seeing the girl surrender, Della immediately stops her attack: "Of course dear, don't worry. Just don't pull off any nasty trick! Tell us, what's your name?" - she asks the goblin.

The goblin nods vigorously at Lonnie's demand, then looks to Della Kresha. No tricks. You came from boss Klarg's den, so humans and friends must have killed him. Not that stupid She attempts what you think is a reassuring smile, ruined somewhat by the light glinting off her sharp teeth

Also stronger, Netish says. She then point a to Sigrun, and goes on. She cut off his arm through his shield, in one blow. Didn’t even seem to be that hard for her.

Kresha cowers somewhat as the barbarians speak and averts her eyes from all of you King Grol's boys took the dwarf and his map.

Smelkies just starts looking for treasure on the dead goblins and in the area, seeing that interogation is handled pretty well.

Human is in the eating cave, the western cavern. Cross the bridge or take the side tunnel she shrugs Probably should go soon, Klarg wanted to eat him so they've been building a big cooking fire

Don't know. Someone called the Black Spider paid King Grol a lot of money for the dwarf and what he was carrying to be taken back to King Grol's keep

Now she knows where Sildar is, Sigrún wastes no time heading off to rescue him. "I'm going to get Sildar. Anyone want to tag along?" She then heads towards the western cavern and this "eating cave" the goblin mentioned.

Netish looks to follow, but looks back to the others.

Then she thinks back over the past few days. No one has yelled at her. No one has beaten her for making mistakes.

Maybe things really are different.

She steps up beside the goliath and smiles up at her.

Let's go. And if they have hurt your friend, then they can eat our steel in the eating cave.

Cragmaw Castle. It's 20 miles northeast, in Neverwinter Wood Kresha thinks for a moment Can't draw a map, usually have to search around a bit to find it.

The goblin watches you leave and slowly fades into the darkness behind you. There are two routes to the western cave, as you understand. You can take the bridge most of the party spotted earlier or you can cross under the bridge and over the stream to go through another tunnel. Which way would you like to go?

Maria is following along, again staying at the center of group. She certainly hopes this 'eating room' does not mean any form of cannabalism. She is very worried about Sildar.

"Are we going towards this eating cave? What if there are 20 goblins with a tissue around their necks with knives and forks in their hands waiting to eat... Well scratch that, just 20 goblins waiting to eat. ... ... Us?"

Almost died already once, why risk your life again for a low reward he thinks to himself. The treasure and Gundrenn is clearly at the castle.

If everyone start walking he won't stay behind alone though and will follow the group.
