The party as a whole rolled high enough that I will allow you all to go first. In future I will get a single person, whoever posts first, to make the initiative roll.

Yeah, whatever is easiest for the party. PbP can often get bogged down during combat, so I am fully in favor of whatever we think might expedite things.

I take it that one of them decided to move (since grubt disengaged) and took the booming blade damage? Also does everyone get thier attack for them leaving our spaces then?

I thought the creature was standing next to Grubt. Is that not the case?

He disengaged and moved. You can split up a move.
If there is sufficient space to maneuver, Grubt will use his bonus action to use Cunning Action to disengage and move away from the zombie. He'll then try and taunt it to come after him and activate the rider effect of Booming Blade, and/or provoke an attack of opportunity from Glorp.

Correct. I tried to state that if there was nowhere to move, Grubt would stay put, but this is precisely what Grubt was doing. He can move through larger creatures' spaces as a halfling, so it was move, attack, bonus cunning action disengage, move some more, trying to goad the rider effect of booming blade, or otherwise not get hit.

Feel free to resolve attacks of opportunity before we continue. If you feel you are in a position to make one then do, I am not too particular about positioning. Then everyone can make their attacks for the next round.

Just to clarify: did the monster moved and take booming blade damage and provoke AOOs, or was Grubt unable to move? Just trying to clarify. Also, Grubt is in pretty bad shape at the moment, health-wise, in case anyone cares to pop a heal. Like, he's at 1 hp.

Thanks, I did roll 4 damage in the original attack post, should this situation arise. It just wasn't readily apparent whether or not it had transpired. I love and often prefer theatre of the mind, but it can sometimes get wonky in tactical combat. Thanks for the clarification!

Sorry to hear about your wrist, hope it isn't too serious. I was down to 1 HP(!), so that heal helped a great deal.

Sorry for being absent for so long, everyone. I had a lot of RL things going on, and have barely been online. I was able to access the forum through my mobile, but I wasn't at my computer where I could access the modules, so I couldn't post. Things should return to normal now.

Yeah, I definitely will, just intended to wait until after we had dispatched this thing, assuming we even can.
