Grubt sinks slightly into his body, adopting a combat stance as he draws his rapier. Seeing Glorp engage the zombie, the halfling scurries beneath the operating table, and then hops atop it, flanking the zombie and striking forward in a vicious lunge. The air seems to shimmer around his blade for a moment, extending toward the monster and wreathing it in a nimbus of sonic energy.

    Spoiler: OOC
    Show
Grubt will move in and try to flank the zombie. He'll attack with Booming Blade.
    Booming Blade - (1d20+5)[14]
Booming Blade damage - (1d8)[4] This is if he attempts to move away.
    Rapier damage - (1d8+3)[5]
    Sneak Attack damage - (2d6)[6]

If there is sufficient space to maneuver, Grubt will use his bonus action to use Cunning Action to disengage and move away from the zombie. He'll then try and taunt it to come after him and activate the rider effect of Booming Blade, and/or provoke an attack of opportunity from Glorp.

EVeryone in the party manages to hit easily enough, as the creature, which doesn't look like a zombie, but like a collection of stitched together body parts, attacks Grubt, since they did the most damage to the creature.

The attack hits, but the creature appears to be a sort of damage sink, being able to accept a huge amount of hits before it looks like going down.

The creature appears to have some sense of self preservation, and tries to disengage and flee. However, it moves clumsily, and the entire team manage to get in an attack of opportunity on it as it flees the room.

The creature is knocked back, then under the final attacks it falls to the floor, unmoving. You hope that there has not been so mmuchb noise from the fight that the other morticians and cryptkeepers don't come to investigate. You see something in the chest cavity that the mortician was sewing closed when you discover them. It will be easy enough to dig it out, but it is a gruesome task, which some may not want to perform.

Glorp will reach into the opening manipulating his shape to allow him to do so, grip the object then try and rip it out.

"Thanks," the halfling whispers to Aewyn, her magic causing the purplish blotches from where the creature bashed him to fade to a softer greenish yellow, and he felts his cracked ribs knit and fuse. He looks outside, taking care to drag any portion of the mortician or his patient(?)'s body back into the room and out of immediate eyesight. The little thief quickly rifles through the mortician's pockets, looking for anything useful. "Let's take a quick look for anyfin' at might help, and then kip on outta here." He keeps a gimlet eye on the hallway as he pats the corpse down.
