Meri Tidecaller has spent all 20 birthdays of her life under the calming waves of the ocean (well, except those times spent sunbathing on rocks above the waves). She has had a happy and carefree life, hunting and playing with her fellow merfolk, and especially her sister, Triss. They were close and inseparable, and looked fairly similar except for the fact that Triss has blonde hair. The two even shared the same wanderlust (and worship Desna). Even though they were happy with their tribe, and life was easy except for the occasional sahuagin raid (and boy does Meri hate Sahuagin), Meri and Triss often wondered about the civilizations above the ocean. What kinds of people, cultures, and adventures happened up there? Of course there is plenty of adventure in the deep as well, but the sisters often talked about taking a lengthy journey topside someday.

One day, Triss told Meri about a dream she had about a city that once sat dry on the land, but at some point sunk beneath the waves. Triss went off to investigate, and she never returned. Meri was devastated. Crying, she swam to the seers and oracles of her tribe, and they managed to reconstruct the dream that Triss received, and let Meri experience it as well. Meri thanked them, and (against the advice of the seers), swam off on a mission to find her sister.

Meri usually has an upbeat, happy demeanor. The disappearance of her sister has dampened her spirit a bit, but she remains optimistic that eventually everything will work out. It is this confidence that lets her weather a lot of rough treatment, as she is determined to let nothing stand in her way of finding her kin. Usually, unless interacting with someone she dislikes, she has a friendly smile on her face. Once enraged enough to take action, however, it is difficult to placate her. There is no overkill. There is only "Open fire!" and "I need to rest 8 hours."

In her free time, she like to sing merfolk classics as "Under the Sea", "Flipper Girl", and "Fins of Fury". She is also fascinated by land-based culture and alcohol (her tribe didn't have any booze) and wants to explore the world.

This 20 year old aquatic beauty has light skin with clear complexion. Well, her upper half is anyways. A clutch of flowers or other colorful plants typically adorns her long, shiny auburn hair. It frames her friendly, emerald eyes as she smiles at whomever she is speaking with (most of the time). She likes to wear decorative, silvery metal bands around her arms, along with a golden necklace. On her upper body, she affixes a pair of colorful clams to her plentiful chest. The clams match the coloration of her tail.

For her bottom half, a belt made of golden links adorns where her skin becomes scales. Those scales are a bright aqua hue, and that only changes at the fin of her tail. The fin itself is mostly jade colored with some purple interspersed, and then gradually becomes yellow, and then blue, and then back to purple. It is quite colorful.

Meri's total length is 6ft 4 inches, and she weighs a healthy 175 lbs.

Amelia is an undine specialized in underwater scuttling, recovery, and documentation. Shes a water singer bard, but don't let that fool you, she knows how to throw a punch.

my guess all over the world for the player base, but in paradox26 profile it says Australia, so there is that.

Kusdach is a half-orc druid, mostly focused on wildshape combat, Snapjaw is a Spinosaurus.
He's not especially aquatic.

Pralan, Human Soulknife (archetype: Living Legend)

Pralan will speak in Purple (and mostly formatted posts)

As a Soulknife, Pralan is mostly a melee fighter. He can tweak his abilities a bit on a daily basis, to shore up weaknesses in the party.

Pralan grew up in ancient, storied Taldor, among tales of the heroes that protected the kingdom. His father was a bard om some renown, and his mother had been a knight until she retired. As a child of lower nobility, Pralan had the opportunity to train as a warrior and the time to enjoy his father's stories, and tours of the great battlegrounds, monuments and tombs of heroes.

It was never really a question whether Pralan would one day be a hero. But the way was unexpected. At swords practice one day, a newly minted squire was bullying the younger pages. After getting showed to the ground for the fifth time, Pralan got back up, drew a full-sized glowing longsword from thin air, and challenged the quire to a duel in formal, archaic Taldan.

Since then, Pralan has kept up with his swordsmanship and his psionic ability to channel the echoes of legendary heroes. He has traveled the Inner Sea region as a hero-for-hire, killing monsters, quelling bandits. He has made a bit of a name for himself as a reliable, if somewhat odd warrior. An honorable man with strong, unyielding principles - and yet, a new set of principles three days later. The only constant is his dislike for bullies and predators.

Kudsach has a Wand of Cure Light Wounds, though it's good we've got a bard since Natural Spell doesn't work with wands.

Siyadhi is a unicorn sorcerer, so she has Cure spells as well as additional healing whenever she casts any spell.
