Not that you see. Itz kinda like a small tower building. Three floors. First floor has about 6 tables lined up, each table is about 10 feet long with open tomes. some shut. Wooden benches are the available chairs.

Does the attempt to confirm a crit mean the umbrella isn’t something immune to crits like a construct or something like that? Because if so, I’ll get into a flanking position and strike; if not, can disregard the rolls as my damage would be marginal. Also, both the atk and dmg rolls are using Cunning Insight.

Oh the crit was towards gerald not the umbrella. The umbrella's threat range is 19-20/x3 but didnt break geralds ac so he was still safe. Nice nat 1 btw :3

I'm assuming this path has some chanc eof leading us to an escape, in order to better move things along. Since I didn't necessarily enter the room rather than simply opening the door to examine it; but trying to just move things along.

How much actual damage did it seem like we did? Also, was the library behind the small or large door? And how much trouble would this thing have with the small door?

I’m assuming the rolls account for the -2 from entangled? Taking a 5’ step back, taking out a demonsbane, and chucking it, not sure if it’ll actually do anything in this context though

It ragdolled across the room but stood up like it didn't recieve as much damage as the attacks suggested (DR) library was behind the big door. Also he wasn't triggered until both of you entered the small door. Causing him to drop and the entrance small door to sink into the floor. But the second door leading downwards is still there. He can give chase down but might hinder him slightly.

Also demonstrate very effective against the umbrella xD. Since it's super hurt as well.

(3d6+3)[14] if over 9 dmg it just dies lol if it survives its ac is lowered but I have faith in ya guys!

Thought you meant all attacks lol. Maynards showed that it had dr you guys still managed to fling it across the room with your combined attacks. It is taking damage yes. Its just pretty tanky and equally slow it seems. The old saying if it can bleed you can kill it applies well its not bleeding but it is taking damage!

Okay, thanks for the clarification. based on the description it felt like either a case of 'tough but doable fight' or 'literally made of iron mob that we're meant to avoid'.

I'm surprised that something so big is beatable, I'd have expected something of that size to have a lot of HD. At any rate since it is I'll keep trying to beat on it
I'll also try to look at how my blade is hitting it, and assess whether switching to my hammer would be better against its dr, though that hammer is otherwise a markedly weaker weapon.
